Pre Match Pre Match - Brentford (A) - Sat 15:00

Watched the post match conference and Thomas Frank was very complimentary about us.
Called us the best team in the world and even said that we're levels above City and Arsenal.

I think that he's boyhood fan. It's not the first time he's said nice things about us.

I remember a SKY segment when he was asked if he could name all Danish players who have played for LFC. He got everyone except Torben Piechnik and was a bit annoyed that he forgot.
Brentford's last three home Premier League outings this month have come against Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool.

The Bees lost 3-1 to Arsenal and came from two goals down to draw 2-2 with Manchester City, before succumbing late to Liverpool.

"We just played City and Arsenal and now Liverpool, in a short amount of time," Brentford manager Thomas Frank told BBC Sport.

"For me they're a level above the two teams. They're complete. Their work ethic, the way they track back, are good indicators.

"They're so good all over the pitch. Such a threat going forward. It's the best team in the Premier League and the world. They're huge favourites to win it [the title]."

It works fine for me. It’s the embedding of it seems to have been removed. If you try to add media it lists the platforms you can share but TikTok is no longer an option.
It works. It's just that you're using the wrong link. Try clicking the share button on the TikTok video and copy the link.

The above one works, remove the X's.

The weird thing is I always use the share button to create the links for TikToks. The URL provided on this one video didn’t want to work. I opened it in Safari and it then gave me the same link as you have in the URL bar which is fucking weird.

Yeah that's strange. Apparently it differs between the app and the website. I don't have the app.

Ha that crossed my mind!

Does the crowd give that ball back? Do the stewards make them return balls that fly into the stands?

Slot’s roll of the dice works again

Arne Slot has impressed in many ways since succeeding Jürgen Klopp as Liverpool manager but it his canny use of substitutions that has perhaps stood out most of all. Whenever he looks to his bench for inspiration, the Dutch manager usually finds it. The point earned in the midweek draw at Nottingham Forest came courtesy of a first touch from Kostas Tsimikas meeting a first touch from Diogo Jota to create the equaliser. Then at Brentford, with his team needing a goal to keep title rivals at arm’s length, he called for Darwin Núñez. The chaotic Uruguayan answered his call by scoring twice in injury time to secure what could be a crucial win in the hunt for a 20th league title, but Federico Chiesa and Harvey Elliott were involved in the second goal, too. Creative players who other managers may have deemed too risky to involve in such a tight end to a match. But Slot is a risk-and-reward manager who loves to roll the dice. Gregg Bakowski

For the final goal he went into the box and took one of the defenders away. 4 of the subs had some impact with that goal.

I was dead sure the ball was going to Curtis too. Harvey totally sold me the feint. I''ll make a terriblr defender

A welcoming win, 3 points, clean sheet, and two goals by DARWIN are the most important things! In a game which I thought we were awful in finishing and no end product from Salah! Who should have been replaced at half-time! Please give Nunez a credit, despite his bad form or misfortune, the young lad is trying his best for LFC. Good luck in Europe.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the lads all grabbed Darwin immediatly after the 2nd goal not just out of delight and relief but to prevent him taking his shirt off again and getting a 2nd yellow?
I thought Robbo did that at the time!
