he realised his mistake.Elliot & Chiesa were great at the end. Shame that they were bench warming at the end against Forest.
he realised his mistake.
But again, what did Salah do to warrant staying on?
Btw, has Salah ever scored a game winner for us, like a last minute goal to win us a game? I can't remember one. At least not an important one.
Maybe I have selective memory. Can't remember one.Probably about 50 mate 🤣🤣

If you asked me right now to give you an example of a game winner, my first thought would be Villa away Mane 2-1.

Also, penalties don't count.
I honestly don't remember any of them vividly 🤣
I don't think he's scored Neil Mellor-esque goals for us.
I think Mané has more.
Origi definitely has more.
For context I'm not saying they're better, I'm just saying that I can't remember Salah scoring last minute goals for us.
I think Mane scored a winner against Everton too. Was it the one where Sturridge hit he post?I THINK he scored a scrappy last minute winner against Spurs in the 2019 title race? Think it was him.
Tbf there aren't really that many last minute winners to go round, are there? A few a season? Origi and Nunez seem to have a special knack, could be cos they've been subs and are fresher.
By that logic nor has Chiesa for us let alone played any mins but we hoped he would come on.I think you misunderstood, I'm talking last 5 minutes or an added time winner.

Yeah loved that one.
The point is even most strikers only get one or two across like 5 seasons. It's a low enough number that you could easily have zero just by chance without it really saying anything about the player's underlying propensity to get them.
Well obviously that's why he's still on the pitch but the sample size is quite large with Salah.By that logic nor has Chiesa for us let alone played any mins but we hoped he would come on.
There as always a chance Mo may do something so hence why managers leave their best strikers on.
But still Gerrard is the one with most last minute winners for us.Thats why the ones who do get them tend to be more beloved cult heros than consistent performers. Usually its fresher legs coming on and making an impact

I mean, I can use that against Salah too.TBF 17 years as being the only player worth a damn in our team. Plus, "Stevie Me". He always tried, even the games when other options were better, he went for it
I love that goal for so many reasons... One my favourite Klopp goalsOne of the most iconic was the one against Saints with the Hendo / Robbo accidental hug afterwards
Thomas Frank on the Premier League title race: "Liverpool haven't had a dip yet and that will most likely come, and Arsenal are picking up points when they're not fully firing. It will go right to the end." (BBC)
