Was Jones really that good? Might need to watch it again…for me he lacks a lot in the cutting edge department and honestly see Elliott as a better talent.

Credit where it's due, I'm a Jones skeptic but he had a good game, carried the attack to them and worked hard all night. He still holds onto the ball too long but that was a good game for him. More of that please

For Keita that's probably true, for Salah he's a fucking pro and no waybwould he be distracted by anything

Yeah, maybe Salah is the only one I'd trust. Not Mane – he has been close to being red-carded several times this season already.

Few saying Arsenal manipulated postponing last Sunday's Derby V Spurs so they'd be fresh for tonights game.If that was Arsenal being "fresh"...hate to see them stale.

Lots to like about this goal. From Trent drifting into the #10 role during build-up, Firmino's no-look back-heel to find him, Jota's nutmeg, Curtis's run beyond him to take White away. Finish was lucky, but the rest was not.

Did anyone else notice how drunk Paul Merson seemed in the post match summary? Nice comments but fuck me they were slurred......

- Gordon adjusted to the game and didn’t look out of place as the game went, he worked hard and stayed wide offering width. Hope he starts against Cardiff.
- Bobby, fun bobby is slowly getting the grin back.
- Robbo, what a player. All game.
- Virgil, not same as he was? Well maybe but he must have been insane back then because I’m fine this Virgil.
- Konate comes in and is just decisive in tackles and interceptions. Good player.
- Trent, 15 assists by Jan and he’s had Covid twice already in year. Insane from a RB, the game’s gone…

Kelleher is a fantastic 2nd keeper and probably deserves to play more often, but I don't know ow anybody who thinks he's better than Ali

That said if the call was made in 12 months to sell Allison to raise funds and promote Kelleher I would understand. I do think Kelleher is only starting to show how good he is.

if Ramsdale cost £30m, then Kelleher can’t be worth much less than that.

Different situation, Ramsdale was playing first team football for Bournemouth and Sheffield before he moved to Arsenal. Kelleher is clearly not our first choice keeper so unless he goes on loan to build up his profile I don't think we could expect that sort of fee. Even though I do think he has the ability to be as good as Ramsdale.

From a purely business/financial perspective the move that makes more sense is loaning out Kelleher for a season to toughen him up and if he proves himself then sell Allison for big money in 2023 and replace him for free with Kelleher.

I reckon he’s worth it, but you’re right, we wouldn’t get it for him.

Mind you we got £12.5m for Danny Ward - so I’d expect more than that.

I think loaning him out depends on whether one of our younger keepers can step in - I don’t ever want to see Adrian play for us again and Karius is like a bad smell that won’t go away.

Given Alison’s past injury issues - Kelleher might get enough games - we need a solid number 2.

What a performance. Didn’t give Arsenal anything and could have scored 4 ourselves.

Jota - lethal dribbling and composed finishing
Gordon - grew into the game and his natural ability at RW
Jones - really disciplined with a great mix of moments beating his man and driving us forward
Hendo - played as a ‘system CM’ plugging the gap for Trent to do his thing
Fabs - kept all of their #10s quiet
Robbo - Saka in his pocket and threatening going forward
Trent - the GOAT. Defended Martinelli v. well too
Konate - gutter his powerful header didn’t go in.

the whole team stepped up. On to the final!

Brizzle - ignored the naysayers to deliver a much-needed win.

Is it a month away? That should be enough time for him to get his affairs in order before he dies. RIP Brizzle YNWA.

Is Brizzle back from the AFCON already????

Did we win it?
