According to Kenny he's got a full side to pick from hence I hope we see something like this:

............................................REINA............................................
KELLY..................CARRA..................AGGER.....................ENRIQUE
...........................................LUCAS.............................................
KUYT.............................GERRARD.................................DOWNING
..............................SUAREZ.........CARROLL..................................

Johnson, Skrtel, Henderson, Adam and Bellers to form our best bench in a long while.
I'm hoping for that same team, although I'd play Gerrard alongside Lucas and drop Suarez a bit deeper.
I concur

Adam would never cope with the pace of Utd's runners. Does that make sense? Did I sound all footbally?

This is what I would play.

--------------------------------------------------REINA-----------------------------------------------
JOHNSON---------------AGGER------------------------------CARRAGHER---------------ENRIQUE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
--------------------------------------LUCAS--------------SPEARING--------------------------------
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------GERRARD---------------------------------------------
KUYT--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------MAXI

Thats a good side but against United I think that left side would be exposed.
Maxi tucks in a lot and whilst Downing hasn't really hit the ground running at Liverpool, he would come back and cover a lot more.
Nani & Young are in very good form right now and they will swap over a lot, we'll need to set up to cover that.
I also think Adam will be picked ahead of Spearing.

Your pitch has its dimensions all wrong Oncy.

...............................Reina

Johnson.....Carragher......Agger......Enrique

Kuyt.......Spearing..........Lucas........Downing

...........................Gerrard

............................Suarez

Not a massive Martin Kelly fan, but i'd much prefer him to Johnson.

Furthermore, Johnson's only played about 20 minutes or something this season, and he'd be up against Nani/Young hence 'taken to the cleaners' comes to mind.

I'm not sure how Levein was playing him against Spain but he was absolutely lost when they had the ball, not so bad when Scotland had it. At home I'd play him as one of three centre mids, definately not one of two.

You're right he's useless against pace and movement

His first half performance last year against Utd at Bloomfield was one of the best I've ever seen. So I think thats only half a pinch of truth tbh.

So you'd stick in a player who hasn't kicked a ball all season against Nani, over Bellamy or Downing?

Can you not see Enrique's name or something?

Reina

Kelly Carra Skrtel Enrique

Lucas Adam

Gerrard
Kuyt Suarez
Carroll

A three man midfield is a must IMO.
If you mean the player who has scored 11 goals in his last 12 appearances for us as opposed to say Downing who has scored 0 in 8 then yes I would.
If you mean the player who played in all of the games where we played the best football we have played in years then yes I would.
If you mean the player who played in the same game last season when we won 3-1 then yes I would.
If you mean the same player who has scored more goals for us in the last 6 months then Suarez and Carroll combined then yes I would.

Ive seen your wee agenda. Im not interested in arguing about it.

Courageous to have Maxi in the team and the points you brought up are all valid except that he hasn't played much this season. Is he really fit enough to start (form wise)?
Fuck knows.
He's better than Downing and Bellamy says he cant play twice in a week and he played 90 mins for wales.
That said id play Maxi regardless.
I like him. He is a clever clever player.

...right and he works well with Suarez. Downing...well that's £16 Million or whatever down the drain.
We really should have bought another tricky midfielder that would combine with Suarez.
He works well with clever footballers. His link up with Meireles and Suarez was beautiful at times. Im hoping Gerrard will play the Meireles role for Maxi.
The rest of the team picks itself for me.
Basically only Enrique of the summer signings improves us.

Wonder who Fergie will pick as his central defensive partnership now that Rio and Vidic are available?

Jones has looked dodgy these last few weeks.

Didn't they play a 4-3-3 / 4-5-1? That's perfect for him in a home match imo, he's a good player no doubt he just needs the ball to look like a player. Without it against Spain he looked like a 15yr old Labrador chasing kids around.

Has Jones been dodgy?

They love him at United already. He's very dangerous going forward too.

It's weird , the last few yrs since Ronaldo has gone ...i haven't hated individual players at United like i do at chelsea with Drogba , Mongo and Lamptard ..but the new lot they have , this Jones , Smalling , even Young ....they such arrogant cockheads it's beyond me ...fair enough you're a confident young player but there's a line between confidence and being a bellend ...they're bellends .

Jones has got a face I'd never tire of punching. I can confidently predict that within 12 months he'll be one of the most hated players in Britain.

There's something about him. I can't quite out my finger on it, but he's a smug, fat-tongued mong-faced cunt with a shit attitude and I already loathe the cunt.

Oh, there you go, I did manage to put my finger on it after all.

Why wouldn't Suarez start? Just because he travel round the world doesn't mean he is tired.. he will start im sure.

Yep I agree Ryan. He seemed a normal tough defender at Blackburn, he signs for united and immediately exudes this air of dickhead about him. Grew in dodgy bleached hair and looks like a thick cunt.

Good player mind, but I just know, i'm gonna hate him.

He was singled out as the reason they conceded 3 against Basle.

I bet Spidey loves him, an attacking defender who can't defend.

Ha, spot on Ryan. He's a proper grade A cunt alright.

You missed out his cunty cunt hair highlights as well.

Fair enough, I didn't see the Basle game at all.
I didn't either, just heard that he goes wandering a bit and is suspect positionally. That's something Suarez could easily take advantage of if Jones plays.

I find it impossible to guess how this game will go, but I don't see it being a draw.
