carroll has been on a gradual upward curve for the past two games, maybe this is the game he finally explodes. I wouldn't drop him now.

Agreed.

I'd play Bellamy and Gerrard though. Dropping Adam and Dirk and switching Downing to the right.
That team would win.

The reality is that unless Man U have a crisis of confidnence they should win, if you had to bet your house that a team is going to destroy the other 5 nil most of us would bet on United with the free scoring pace.

That said...
We a without doubt capable of beating them, the pluses they have ie youth can also count against them if we are completely at it and we do actually have enough quality to score against them.

As for how we should set out our stall...

playing cagey is a bad idea IMO and i hope its against Kennys principles, we should set out to play attacking footy and live or die by it. What good is a point if we sell our souls to get it?

Fuck that.

It doesnt help.

One of the reasons that I actually do respect the rednosed cunt is that he has tried to win nearly everytime... we should do the same... even though its possible we are outgunned. Fuck it, The big picture is actually important.

Ive been thining all week we are gonna get humped but typing this.... CMON THE POOL....

well up for it.

It'll be the same team that started at Everton.
I think Gerrard will start tbh.

I doubt we will have a central midfield two of lucas and adam as I think we'll get dominated in the middle of the park. I think gerrard will come in with kuyt or carroll dropping to the bench.

And rightly so. It didn't pull up trees but it's the team most of us wanted because it's the team you want in the big games. Dropping Dirk for this kind of game is just mental.

Carroll might drop, I doubt Dirk will, if Gerrard plays he'll play in the hole with Lucas and Adam behind.

Actually here's what'll happen, and I'm not joking either.

Same team as Everton except Gerrard coming in for Suarez.

Pick the bones out of that.

because suarez flew half way round the world for his international games

Kenny benched him at Arsenal.
He's still coming off the back of Copa America.
He's just flown halfway around the world this week.
Kenny won't want to drop big Dunc after he scored at Everton.
Gerrard is ready to go.

It'll happen.

A little trip like that won't stop Luis playing in the biggest match of the season at Anfield, I will put money on it

regards

going by the way suarez reacts to being hooked for the last ten minutes, if he doesn't start the game kenny will probably find a horse's head in his bed sunday morning.

Lol At the Suarez reaction at being subbed against Wolves.

Imagine his reaction at being told hes on the bench for the Utd game!?

WOnt happen in a million years.

Same team as against Everton, but Gerrard for Adam.

According to Kenny he's got a full side to pick from hence I hope we see something like this:

............................................REINA............................................
KELLY..................CARRA..................AGGER.....................ENRIQUE
...........................................LUCAS.............................................
KUYT.............................GERRARD.................................DOWNING
..............................SUAREZ.........CARROLL..................................

Johnson, Skrtel, Henderson, Adam and Bellers to form our best bench in a long while.

In my mind, that has been our best starting 11 all season.

I like it. A lot.

Rather lightweight in central midfield.
Who would you have in midfield Wilko?

The missus's nan?! Fuck that, I'd well have had that binned off.

Just do what I do, when the tv fixtures come out, send a link to them to your missus, or better still add them to her phone calendar using that cool LFC.tv thing, & tell her you're unavailable during those times.

Simples. Sure I have to occasionally being dragged round ikea on other days, or suffer some other bullshit family do, but I don't miss the match for any unimportant nonsense.

This date has been nailed on for what feels like a life time, proper nice restaraunt in all fairness, I plan on eating and drinking well in preparation for MOTD/in celebration of her nans b'day. .

Still gay.

Agreed. That's a strong looking team but not one i'd try against United or other top teams.

At how to Norwich, we could definitely try it though.

Adam, even Spearing. I've never been convinced by a Lucas/Gerrard partnership to be honest.

As i said before, it could and should work in certain games against the lesser sides at Anfield but not against United/Chelsea/City etc and in the majority of away games.
Still can't get West Ham away out of mind last season when Parker and Hitzlsperger destroyed Lucas and Gerrard.

I'm hoping for that same team, although I'd play Gerrard alongside Lucas and drop Suarez a bit deeper.
