Said it in the match thread but that performance from him today reminded me of a fully firing Gerrard of old, He was everywhere and all action today, some sublime passes, good tackles and a great goal.

Can't believe im saying that.

Henderson did well today. He turned up and put on a performance that I wanted him to do for a while.
All I've wanted is for him to prove himself. What he did today is a step in the right direction, but it needs to happen more often.
 
Played after getting injections and has some plaster/bandage thing on his foot.
Credit to him for that performance.

Motm imho.

Lucas has proven himself on several occasions, just because you don't think so doesn't mean its not true. He was brilliant today as well.
Worked himself back into the Brazil squad. That's something imo.

I think you missed the point. You seem to be be saying Henderson should be more consistent, because obviously you can't just give credit where it's due, without some reservation to save face.

Lucas has been brilliant more often than not though. Am I lying? Oh.

So you're telling me that performances like today is a regular occurrence with regards to Henderson?

Lucas was average passing wise by his standards. Other than that, he had a good performance.
 
It's rare he's as immaculate as today

It's rarer for lucas to be one for our better players though
 
Ive never hid my opinion of hendo but credit where credit is due he was boss today. Best performance I've seen from him in a liverpool shirt and deserved MOTM. johnson was shocking today though.

Couldn't watch the match live today, only just done watching. Henderson was fantastic, put a bet on him to score too.

I haven't said anything bad about Henderson today, Flanagan had a decent game and scored a goal.

From the outside looking in, it looks like you're shoving these "facts" in my face, something you often complain that I do.

I thought Lucas was good today btw, him and Allen were quiet in the middle and did their job, no fuss, which allowed the rest of the team to do what they do.. Great stuff. Quietly efficient, which is pretty much his hallmark and really what we want from a midfield duo, maintain control and let the attack play.
