In fairness he quashes a lot of chances due to his sweeper keeper role. He's afforded the luxury of using this style as Bayern are usually in control of the game. On one hand I respect him for it and then on the other hand it's indulgent and extremely risky. Either way it's fun to watch.

Lloris is guilty of trying to imitate this approach but it often backfires on him as Spurs aren't as stable as Bayern and Lloris isn't as talented as Neuer. Pepe Reina in his pomp was excellent at coming off line quickly to quell danger but Neuer has taken it to piss taking levels.
