What's the chances of him getting a look in here? Didn't he leave Barca because of lack of first team opportunities?

I don't know how good or bad this guy is, but I would suggest that Barca's first team is a *little* bit better than ours.

He's a more fragile version of Benayoun. Would be interesting to see him at Stoke...

That may well be the case but we are not short of number 10's it seems and do you really think that he'll get in ahead of Gerrard or Cole? Highly unlikely, I would suggest!

Comparing where Benayoun was 18 and Assulin is, I don't think you can say he's a 'more fragile' version.

I think he'd be a good signing for the Gooners IF he signs in England. But this league may be too physical for him ...

I guess you are right - he's an equally fragile version of 18 years old Benayoun 😉

nothing pisses me off more than a young bigheaded show pony that thinks because he can do a few step overs he deserves to have a starting 11 spot.

I dunno man - from what I've seen of Yossi when he was 18, he looked far more fragile than Assulin. But who cares, he's been hyped up way too much - both by Barca (who ranked him at the time as the best 16 year old propsect with one Mr. Pacehco and one Thiago Silva) and the Israeli media. I will be amazed if he gets anywhere to be honest. He should go to a small Spanish team and try and play every day.

How good is this kid!

£34m?! Fuck off!!

That'll be his continental over-blown buy-out clause - I don't think a player in the history of La Liga has ever gone for a figure remotely near there valuation

Another Cherno Samba?
I would guess that being a highly rated 16 year old at Barca is a wee bit different than being a highly rated 16 year old at mighty Milwall.

Some Sheiks have too much money to spend (not our own Sheik Yerbouty..)

You have to feel for him with a name like Gay Assulin
it's pronounced like Mr. Fawkes.

wasn't he on trial at Blackburn a few weeks ago?

let's be honest if Barca are ditching him then can't be that good. I seem to remember them getting rid of Dos Santos pretty quickly.

I'd rather have Bojan Krkic (sp). He seems to have both speed and goals in him.
I think that goes without saying. He's not available for free though.
