If as Cloggy reckons he'll go for £12m, considering the standard of league he's performed in and the level he's performed at, it would seem a good deal considering what we paid for Alberto.
Did not know you were Danish.Sell Suarez, buy Eriksen, Fischer, Anderson, Boilsen.
Fischer looks better already I agree. He also will not be moving for a while.
Well we were going to pay £25m for a one hit wonder in the Russian league, with many people happy for us to do so, so I don't know why people are scoffing at Eriksen at less the price.
Suarez is shop soiled and damaged goods and therefore people are waiting for fire sale.I assume its because Mhktaryian scored more goals and had longer left to run on his contract. They are both quality players who would instantly improve our first XI so I wouldn't complain about signing either one, Eriksen is still available so I say lets sign the fucker up. Value in football is a relatively abstract concept.
You would think 85 million for Bale would be good value for Spurs but they disagree. Most people around here reckon Suarez is a better player and yet nobody is willing to pay half of that for him. The only real value a player has is what his selling club is prepared to accept, the market dictates the value

And Toure might end up being a very good signing.
Apart from those two, I'm quite underwhelmed so far.
Aspas seems to be the not as good version of Suarez and Alberto is meh so far.
Hope we sign Eriksen.
To get a really exciting attacker. What exactly were your expectations?
Yeah, tons. Were there articles suggesting he was as good as Suarez?
Eriksen
I'm saying I wanted an exciting attacker (and before that, I said it was an underwhelming transfer window so far).
Suarez is a great example of an exciting attacker. I could have used any other exciting attacker's name. But Suarez is comparable to Aspas because of his industry, aggression, and his position.
I think it's quite easy to understand. I'd hope so anyway.

To be honest, the reason is that Eriksen looks like half the player Mkhitaryan is.
Mkhitaryan = goals. Eriksen = Luis Alberto.
To be fair that's just on youtube. But what else is there to go by?

Dude he got like 13 goals last season. That's better than any of our current mids.
You mentioned him being not as good as Suarez in two consecutive posts. I assumed that's why Whirly asked what your expectations were.
This is really trivial though.
I assume most people saw Aspas as the long over due replacement for Bellamy, a handy squad player who can play a couple of positions along the forward line and chip in with goals, I never considered him as a competitor/replacement for Suarez, hes just not that sort of player
