Chelsea are 1 point above the relegation zone

2. Chelsea are so scared stiff by Dr. Eva leaving and potentially reporting what they've been doing that they've had to stop their doping programme.
Would she not risk losing her licence if she was involved in all that jazz?

He's gone mental

Basically saying the players aren't as good as he got them playing last year.

So... It's not his fault that he can't get them to play like that this year

Fucking deluded wank stain

"One possibility is that I did an amazing job last season and brought the players to a level that is not their level and now they can't maintain it."

Mwah

Chelsea haven't been unlucky! They've been mostly Shite every time I see em (and I watch them a lot). Slow ponderous play, wasteful in possession, and an inability to communicate defensively.

It's the fact their form is so consistently bad is what's surreal

Behave. You know that DB's definition of having watched a team play isn't the same as actually seeing a game.

I'm not sure if that's meant to be a joke, but he has actually sort of said that.

One of his interviews over summer said something along those lines, how "real Champions" can win the title more than once, and can maintain high standards by winning season after season. The implication being that if Chelsea's players didn't do that, they weren't real Champions like Terry, Lampard, Drogba et al.

I think he actually said it last night after the match.

“Sometimes, I find myself thinking that last season I did an amazing job and I brought players to a level that is not their level and if this is true, I brought them to such a level that they couldn’t keep it up for more than the super motivation to be leader and almost champions. That is one possibility."

Does he still try to hake hands before the end of the match?
Absolute total and utter cunt. Karma's a bitch eh shitcoat?

Bloody hell. Hahahaha! So, he was actually setting this up when he originally alluded to it back in summer, before he'd actually even started the title defence. He must have been very unhappy with their transfer activity and saw it coming. Although let's face it, he is possibly the most paranoid. self-serving man in football, so maybe he was just hedging his bets.

I don't know. I've not seen him do it for a while, since he tried to do it to Lambert and Keane at Villa last season and they both refused. The look on Keane's face was brilliant. And then Kenny said Keane was right to snub him in his newspaper column. Although he was a bit more polite than Keane, who said that if anyone tried that in the Sunday league they'd get "knocked out"

This is the first season at a big club that he couldn't spend a fortune on new players. It shows how shit manager he is when can't spend very big money. He didn't rotate enough last season and hoped that he would get his usual big transfer budget so he could replace the tired players.

If he was appointed manager of a club like Stoke then the Stoke fans wouldn't be happy because they would be relegated.

He don't care about what is the best for a player long term or even next season. If a player get tired and need replacing then he used to get the money to buy a replacement. He also need to replace players because they get tired of him after around three years.

Give him a fortune to spend and he will deliver. If you don't give him that then even Moyes is a better manager.

That's not true at all.

As for his squad, it's already been discussed a bit, but it does seem really strange that he allowed so many players to leave the club, when he must have known they'd be useful at some point. Cuadadro, Salah, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Mata, Bertrand, Cech.

Now obviously he didn't want Cech to go, but surely he didn't want ALL of the rest to leave? But then he does seem to make quick decisions about certain players and they struggle to change his mind. Pedro's hardly had a look in all season.

If they're in a similar predicament come the start of February, they'll have every chance of being relegated.

I can't think of a less suited manager/squad to be faced with a bona fide relegation battle. I just pray they don't pick up before then...
