Daniele Prade is the current sporting director of Fiorentina. He moved there from Roma where he oversaw the team take Fabio Borini to the Italian capital. If the claims of Radio Toscana are true, then the whole move is his idea and he wants to take Borini to Florence in the summer.
Calciomercato quote journalist Mario Sconcerti as saying "As I understand the deal to bring Borini to Florence is at an advanced stage."
They go on to say that Fiorentina even tried to sign him in the January transfer window, something which went under the radar. Liverpool will surely prefer to keep Borini but if the player becomes unhappy at a lack of opportunities then he may have a desire to move again, with Fiorentina being the destination.

Logic would dictate that this is a load of shite but personally i wouldn't be so surprised . Rodgers has already bombed Sahin out (of course financial reasons probably paid a part in that) and Assaidi has as much chance of getting a game as me . He doesn't seem against dropping a player he's just bought or cutting his losses .

I'll be honest , when you pay 11m for a 21 yr old i'm expecting him to have a fair bit about him and the potential to develop into a top class player . With Borini , although i obviously acknowledge he hasn't had much playing time yet , i don't see those signs . I see some decent movement from time to time but not alot more .

He hasnt really got going yet. Lets see how he performs during the rest of the season before deciding.
If we want to sell him he'll have plenty of interested clubs, the lad has got talent.

Swansea, Reading, Fiorentina etc... We would struggle to get something back here.

No we wont. For some reason most of our fans writes players off after 5 months.
Plenty of clubs in the Serie A would be after him.
For the record I wouldnt sell him now either

People don't automatically write players off after 5 months. They write them off after five months if they clearly show there is nothing spectacular about them.

I have not written of Suso, even if the end result he has shown so far is poor. But the boy has some vision and I believe he can takle a step toward greatness.
I did write off Downing before 5 months. And I stand by that.
I did not write off Hendo after 5 months, and I think he still can develop.
I did write off Lucas after five months, and the jury is out on that. I still think he have performed well in about 1/4 of his Liverpool games.
I did not write off Carroll after 5 months. I still think he can take the step needed, and he showed it toward the end of last season that there is a beast in there.
I have written off Borini. Yes he can score the odd goal sooner or later, but that is not enough for me.
I have written off Allen. wrong arena.
I did write off Adam, same as for Allen.

We are not a development arena for people taht might know the Rodgers system. We should neither be a development arena for Rodgers to test out things. Assaidi, Allen, Borini and Sahin has so far not given him anything. I expect him to take that with him when planning for the summer, and let it be with one round of mistakes.

We've so many also rans, I'm not sure if we want to be patient with yet another.

Thers something to be said about a player that makes a difference from the start like Daniel S thus far, and Luis S in the day.

But he has been injured for a lot of the season, so he does deserve one season to show himself.

Also, the poor fecker will be depressed if he has to move apartments *again*

I could agree with some of the players you've listed. But some are ridiculous.

Writing off Allen after 5 months is just stupid. He was essential for Swansea and now all of a sudden we dont let young players get time to even adapt.
5 months is a laughable amount of time to judge anyone one just because they dont show anything "spectacular".

Look at Henderson, it took him about a year to get the confidence to perfrom at Liverpools level. Joe Allen started off his Liverpool career in a very good way, and now after a few months of poor form he's suddenly not good enough.

If there was some magic formula in getting in young players and see them perform at once I think most clubs and manager would use it.
Sadly there isnt a quick fix when signing them that some of our fans seem to demand.
And sometimes they dont develop the way you'd like them to but you have to invest some time.

For established players I'd be more willing to agree with you.

I can live well with disagreements on single players. I guess what is my taste is not necessarily yours or others. When it comes to Allen he had a sub appearance against Sunderland or Saints or omeone, where he looked like a killer pass or goal every time he touched the ball. Fantastic 20 mins. But when that appearance was followed up with his usual roll it sideways shit, I gave up. Sorry bout that, but to be honest I dont think he gives a shit anyway.

I have heard the legend about how he ruled the world at Swansea. I never bothered to much about Swansea, but having said that i do believe they are well off without him (and Gylfi which was another one who was supposed to be next big thing!).

Don't really care if he stays or goes.

There has to be a reason why no club ever seems to want to keep him for very long though

Likewise there has to be a reason why clubs consistently want him.

I'm fecked if I know the reason for either
