1. He's slow and lazy

2. He doesn't score enough goals although primarily playing as a main striker (Bring out the stats children)

3. He's on high wage (I believe he's on 90k a week)

4. He doesn't link well with other players in the team.

5. For his size and height he has poor heading ability

6. He cannot play alone up front (See reason no 1)

7. He has average passing and shooting ability

8. We hoof the ball whenever he plays up front

9. His pricetag

10. He's sluggish when getting across his man and he don't stretch the oppositions defence (I know Suarez does that but Suarez are not going to play for us ALL THE FUCKING TIME).

I could go on and on and on but 10 reasons is enough for now. So children, behave and agree with me. Thank you.

I'd prefer 10 reasons why we should release Glock this summer.

1 would be enough for me

oh and quite how his price tag is a reason we should sell him is beyond me

2 games into the season, all that remain me to say is..

[move]FUCK OFF KNOB HEAD[/move]

I apologize to all our other posters for this little outburst...

Strikers with limited pace usually rely on quickness of mind which Carroll don't have.

Stay on topic children.

Is that what Kuyt told you about Carroll?

We were chatting mostly about his charity work(DKF) but he did tell me a thing or two about Carroll which i cannot mention here.

A simple, "I don't agree would suffice".

I'm not defending his post or him in any way. But, Rule 1:

We ask when the moderators ask to tone it down or remove things that we feel are insulting or OTT then please respect our decisions.

The general principles are to avoid unnessecarily doing the following:

1. Attacking the poster, rather than the post.

It's self explanatory.

Just ban him if you can't stand his posts or remove the rule.

Or is all this just some friendly banter?

Surprised to see some mods join in or am I a cunt for shedding a light on this?

I have yet to see any positive post or why we should give Carroll time here. This shows the lack of intelligence among the posters here.

6CM is a dry place without Glock.

it's a really bad place without glock ...

perhaps we should loan you out to rawk as it's even drier there ... and they need you badly.

So Glock is exempt from the rule?
OK, let me clarify this I'm very familiar with his posts. Glock is overconfident, to say the least.
Question, is he a WUM or does he actually believe what he's saying?
If he's WUM, simple, ban him. He's done it enough times to warrant that.
But if he actually believes it....well...(scratches head)....I guess it's his opinion, despite it being daft (see what I did there, I attacked the post).
These past few days I've tried to correct myself, tone it down, so to speak. But when I see this it kinda stings.

theres a difference between the resident looney and the person mocked by near enough every poster, and a poster who was good and slowly descends into WUMmery.

You're the latter modo. on your day you can post genuine thought provoking gold, recently less so

The only thing glock has ever been good at is unintentionally making people round the world laugh

1. He's slow and lazy - Slow maybe, lazy he'll no. These past few games he's actually worked his socks off.

2. He doesn't score enough goals although primarily playing as a main striker (Bring out the stats children) - I agree, I personally think he'd be better in a 4-4-2. But he's young and still learning.

3. He's on high wage (I believe he's on 90k a week) - He also signed a 6.5 (or 5.5) year contract. So he won't be getting a raise any time soon.

4. He doesn't link well with other players in the team. - Let's just wait and see.

5. For his size and height he has poor heading ability - Bull

6. He cannot play alone up front (See reason no 1) - Yes, but give him some time. It's something he has to adapt to.

7. He has average passing and shooting ability - Average passing yes, but his left foot is a cannon. His precision is questionable though.

8. We hoof the ball whenever he plays up front - Correction, Carra hoofs the ball whenever he plays. I'd love to see how he plays when Suarez, Meireles and Gerrard are in the team.

9. His pricetag - Can't argue with you there. But it's still too early

10. He's sluggish when getting across his man and he don't stretch the oppositions defence (I know Suarez does that but Suarez are not going to play for us ALL THE FUCKING TIME). No he doesn't but he occupies two defenders. This will also give Suarez space.
