Relegation form from Newcastle.

Last 7: LLLLLWL

Next 3 games: Arsenal, Cardiff, Liverpool.

Saved by early season form.

FT Palace.

They're safe then. So Norwich battling relegation, Chelsea for the league & then two games against teams who don't gain anything of note for winning.

I've put a sizable chunk on an outright Chelsea win and a cheeky little 2-0 prediction bet. The way I see it I'm a winner whatever happens.

That logic is a little flawed I know but it works in my head.

For the first time in a long long time, I felt some butterflies about a game not involving us when I looked at the Chelsea / Sunderland line ups.

COME ON FABIO! After Mourinho's nonsense about sending players out on loan to hurt rivals.......

Flame me for this if you must, but those teams with nothing much at stake may be relaxed enough to play some good stuff for once. We'll have to assume that every game is going to be tough.

No mate, the logic is sound, esp as a Liverpool fan who's seen us play at our best season after season when it's too late to matter.

The counter argument I'd use though is that we seem to try to box games off early doors, so if that remains true then the spirit to fight back like city did won't be there.

Yeah, cheers for Moses...

Crystal Palace made 78 clearances against West Ham, the highest amount in any of their EPL matches this season.

I bricking it. Got a horrible feeling we'll fuck up tomorrow. A very unlikely Sunderland point would be fantastic.

My bet is 3-0 to Chelsea

well they got back into it against city but chelsea do look up for this. apparently chelsea haven't conceded in their last 9 home games .
