I think he would be a very useful alternative for Coutinho, Allen, Henderson, Sterling at top or sides of the diamond or in midfield of 4-3-3.
He offers something different and complementary to all of the them. With all the competitions next year, we need at least one more quality player in that role and Eriksen would fit the bill.
Certainly, other options are possible and being linked, but will likely cost a fair bit more than Eriksen would have.
