when west ham didn't get that pen shout (not sure if it was valid or not) , you just knew utd would go down other end and score . crap defending .

Tis all good.
United will get a bit of confidence for the city game and West Ham was a game that I was worried about in our run in.
Not worried now they're fucking wank.

watching united win gives me zero enjoyment though

This is the sort of emotional roller coaster you want the Mancs fans to have though - swinging through highs, lows, lower lows, highs again, higher highs, lowest of the lows, etc. only to end up back in square one. We've been through it in seasons past. Time for them to enjoy the ride.

Delighted that the only thing Utd fans have to cheer for the rest of the season is a wonder goal. That used to be us only a season or 2 back with Suarez.

Hopefully Utd can take this form into the derby and cause a shock

West Ham have been awful. For the first time ever I'm hoping for a Utd win against City.
I feel dirty.

Don't bother feeling anything.

They're no threat to us at all, so if they can do us a favour by taking three points of a good side then happy days.

Everton were extremely lucky there. Swansea deserved something from the game.
9-21 in shots....

Hahahaha! Glass houses and all that...

Former top-level British and World Cup referee Clive Thomas, who said in 2012 he had lost faith in modern officials, believes the four in charge of Saturday's game should be banned for the rest of the season.
Marriner was handling the Stamford Bridge clash alongside assistant referees Scott Ledger and Marc Perry, with Anthony Taylor as fourth official.
"It's the most disgusting, shocking decision I've seen. In my opinion these four wouldn't officiate another Premier League game this season," the 77-year-old Welshman told BBC Radio 5 live.
Thomas officiated at the 1974 World Cup in West Germany and the tournament in Argentina four years later, where he is remembered for disallowing a Zico headed goal for Brazil in a group game against Sweden by blowing for full-time while a corner ball was still in mid-air.

Not that they're comparable but I find it funny that former refs are so critical of the current generation.

The refs' association is so mealy-mouthed it's laughable:

"Whilst this was a difficult decision, Andre is disappointed that he failed to identify the correct player.
"He expressed his disappointment to Arsenal when he was made aware of the issue."

I'm sure Arsenal were 'disappointed' with his decision. Marriner should have said he was completely in the wrong and he was extremely sorry. 'Disappointed' - everyone else in the game is made to wear sackcloth and ashes if they mess up, but the worst refs get is 'disappointed'. Idiots!

"Whilst this was a difficult decision, Andre is disappointed that he failed to identify the correct player. He expressed his disappointment to Arsenal when he was made aware of the issue."!

He didn't appear to be disappointed when he was made aware of the issue by both players at the time of the incident.

I can only suggest that the skin tone of both players is very similar, which must have been the feature upon which he was focused when he made his decision. Indeed, had he focussed on any other aspect of the offending player then it is impossible that he would have made his subsequent mistake.

Perhaps in future he ought to identify a player by their shirt number. It is little wonder he is disappointed at at this inadvertent demonstration of his racist thought processes.

Poor the Sol Campbell.

If Pardew had just said 'I'm disappointed' about the head butt,' or Suarez had said 'I've told Ivanovic I'm disappointed' about the bite, people in the media would be saying 'hang on, that's hardly an apology!' These little gits avoid any post match inquisition, they get punished in private and they get any formal criticism hidden from view. And then the best they can manage for a blatant cock up is: 'I'm disappointed'. Not even 'I'm disappointed in myself' but just 'I'm disappointed,' like a Somerset farmer surveying a flood: 'There's water everywhere - I'm disappointed'. "Mr Pistorius, how do you plead, guilty or not guilty?" "Neither, m'lady. Just 'disappointed'".

2-0 saints. Awful game from Naughton. 2 mistakes leading to both goals

Not watching the game, but how is he still getting a game? We murdered him, and then a couple of weeks ago, I saw him getting murdered again. They had to bring in Fryers for him at White Hart Lane against us, and I think he fared better. Having said that, I hope they play Naughton against us this weekend so he can relive his Sterling nightmare again.

Arsenal are no strangers to litigation. In Arsenal Football Club Plc v Reed [2014] EWHC 781 (Ch) (26 February 2014) they pursued a decade long vendetta against some poor fucker selling unofficial merchandise. If they do this to their own fans, I don't see what stops them taking on the referee for negligence and/or racial discrimination.

I think Walker's injured and they dont have anyone else. Havent seen much of Fryers but maybe Naughton's better?
