Aquilani isn't fit, and given that the last several games have seen forced subs, you can see why Rafa would not play someone who needs subbing.

Gerrard isn't fit and in the last few games has metered his runs like Teddy Sherringham of a few years ago, not like a CM.

When Spearing/Plessis play, it has been underwhelming.

He has become a holding midfielder, who plays next to a holding midfielder who is much better than him in every way and makes him redundant.

Err..entire 2007-2008 season, first 1/3 of last season, and this season. So i guess it is reasonable in assuming that this is his normal form. Once Stevie and Torres click into gear, Kuyt will become a very useful and clever support cast.

Ryan. Your support for some of our lesser players is admirable mate. But honestly you cannot think Kuyt played well today.

what agenda? i'm basing it on what i've seen for the last 2 seasons of seeing lucas play. i'm basing it on how rafa picked lucas ahead of alonso in the past. i'm basing it on the stories regarding masch's possible departure. i'm basing it on how players like lucas and kuyt play regardless of form. oh and i'm basing it on rafa's stubbornness.

is that enough for me to base this opinion on?
