I don't care about stupid footballers, but I hope none of you boys used FaceApp. It's now reported everywhere that “the app’s terms of service say users grant the [St. Petersburg, Russia based] company a “perpetual, irrevocable ... (and) worldwide” license to use a user’s photos, name or likeness in practically any way they see fit.” Nothing shady about this at all.

BTW I'd love to know how that's going to be squared with a star player's image rights, which could be worths tens of millions. Alisson will have to go to court and try to prove his account was hacked or something. Quite a few celebrities who fell for this might find themselves in a pickle a well.

The celebrities don't matter because their faces are all over the place anyway... Anyone can go grab their likeness. As for contract, well what were you going to do about the company in St Petersburg anyway?
