Jones is too good to play a shit DM role, as I keep saying, DM position is for those footballers that have quality but are not good enough to be a defender or final third player.

…given we identified Zubamendi as a Slot double pivot 6 seemingly based upon his capacity to move the ball quickly, turn quickly out of tight presses etc…I have a left field option as another Chiesa-like signing as a cheap, experienced back up for Grav…it relies upon a late career change in position but he’s always struck me as a brilliant natural talent who could play anywhere across midfield and prolong his career by moving into a deeper role.

Former Fulham and Chelsea winger Willian is open to another Premier League move as he insists he can play until he is 40.
The Brazil international, now 36, is a free agent after leaving Craven Cottage this summer when his contract expired.
When asked why he left Fulham and where he sees his future, Willian told BBC Sport: “I decided to leave Fulham much before the end of the season, in January or February. I had it in my mind that I would leave after speaking with my agent and family.
“I am looking at some options at the moment. I am thinking about possibilities in Europe, England, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the MLS - just not Brazil as an option for me.
"I am trying to see all the possibilities and think about making the right decision right now. I have some offers already and this is the key moment to decide my next challenge.”

I don’t think anyone will be run into the ground. What I’ve read about slotty is he listens to the medical team and will tell players they need to sit out games.
Slot was asked about Endo in the last press-conference and said he will be an important player for us this season. Don’t think he would have sugar-coated it if it was not so.

Looks a bit thin in defence.
The squad for a club our size is not good, we should have two more midfielders and possibly another CB.
We have 4 CBs and a million midfielders.
6 senior midfielders and one currently injured.
We play with 3 midfielders. We don’t need 2 more than what we have. Especially looking at the quality we have in the younger ranks. We need another LB.
We are about to play in a 3rd competition on Wednesday and we got 5 fit midfielders and one of them is Jones who is injured prone and Endo who Slot don’t rate, a couple of injuries in midfield and we are in big trouble. At left back we have Andy, Tsimikas and Gomez can cover there also and two younger players out on loan who play there.

Endo not being used is on Slot and not who we have. For the third competition we should be using those in the younger ranks, so Morton should be playing too. It’s nowhere as big as an issue as you think.
Left back is because Tsimikas is wank, see Milan’s goal, and Gomez may do a job but not a great one when needed.
No was never a big poster on there but read it a lot Janno definitely had issues a bit of a control freak.

I think every thing to do with the club is done on the cheap, last season we had loads of injuries and in total Klopp used 35 or 36 players in total, this season we registered only 22, most of the youths have been sold or loaned out, they even tried to loan Morton, at one stage last season 13 players were unavailable, let’s hope that don’t happen this season or we end up in mid table.

Before he gets here, how many did we register last year? Of those youths we sold, how many are of the quality you expect to see at Liverpool? Final question, how many players do the two sides that finished above us last season use during the season?
Well Arsenal went through the season almost injury free, I know you are allowed a squad of 25 not including u21 players, I have read city registered 9 midfielders for 4 competitions and we have registered 6. I am on a few Liverpool forums and honestly you are the first fan I have come across that’s thinks 6 midfielders is enough to compete in 4 competitions with expectations to win trophies. I sincerely hope you are right.
I’m not trying to come across as an arsehole, even though I am, but the midfielders City register compared to us could be different. Salah and Diaz could be seen as midfielders as they don’t play up front. We then have Gravy, Soshite/Soboss, Mac, Endo, Elliott, Jones and then on top of that Morton and Nyoini. There we have 8 players in midfield which we could (if fit) play on Wednesday.
You are definitely coming across as a right arsehole. Diaz/Salah are seen as part of our forward line, so taking them out we have 8:
bank 1: szobo/mac/grav
bank 2: jones/endo/elliot
bank 3: Nyoini/Morton
At this moment in time we are functioning on 7 with Elliot out, but if you consider the two in bank 3 to be our youth back mids, then in theory we are very minimalist and functioning on 5 main midfielders of which one has hardly got enough game time in Endo.
Now flip it to city. Who are their forwards?
8 for three slots is enough. It’s all on Arne Endo has been sent to the wilderness.
