Never Sinclair, that's just made up. Taarabt yes. There's probably more but that's about bargain signings when we were strapped for cash.

Here's som gifs to get you back on track:

I don't really remember who it was probably Dos Santos or someone like that then. You forgot the Rodgers celebration gif:

His passing was all over the place but he never hid in that he never wanted the ball or took up positions where he couldn't receive it.

Coutinho always wants the ball even if he constantly gets kicked up into the air. It's what he does once he has the ball which can be a source of frustration. And sometimes still is.

Yeah, I don't what is new about any of this. We've all seen it.

That cunt from devon has got a serious psychological problem. You should do more for him. He's probs got a life that needs attending to instead of wasting his life on motorways to watch utter cunts bussed in from all corners take zillions off us to play a bit of footy. I live 4 miles from the ground and had to be picked up and promised a line in the car.

Great game today, thoroughly deserved win.

Any debate about the merits of coutinho or his flaws or how he compares against lallana need to end. Today proved that no matter what lallana does he will never be in coutinhos league - don't bother arguing 'coz I am right.

Lallana is a good player but today proved he isn't in the same league as the little magician, they both played well but one won the game and one was wasteful - if lallana learns how to pass a ball instead of trying to beat a player 4 times he would be a very good player and one that would be a useful addition to our first team.

The criticism of coutinho in that he doesn't score and loses the ball too easily more than applies to lallana but more so as lallana kills a lot of attacks through just tying to beat players again instead of paying th pass.

Coutinho is our heartbeat, he is our playmaker everyne else is secondary to him, he plays well we do, he gets the ball things happen. He isn't fed the ball we are poor, slow, methodical. his should always be the first name on the team sheet, he was out muscling kompany today!

22 and will be or main man.

Because in the first half of the season when we were poor, Lallana WAS our most creative player. Coutinho was hiding for months after owning dortmund in a friendly.

That's how he could say that when he did. Because it was true at the time
I don't think he was hiding at all, just things weren't coming off for him like they are now. One criticism you can never level at him is that he hides. And er wasn't Lallana injured for the start of the season so your point doesn't hold up at all.

When Lallana came in to the team we looked much improved because we had inventiveness and running at goal

Coutinho didn't hide, true, but as you say- things didn't come off for him... Meaning wasteful and ineffective

I think Coutinho plays best when we have lots of clever runners that the opposition tries to track, giving him both space and options. Lallana contributes to Coutinho's performances in this way for example.
Wait, are you telling me it's a team game and not a one man show?

*shocked*

Both Coutinho and Lallana were excellent today.

That first goal Lallana scored was quite magic in its own imho, shame it was disallowed.
Why bother comparing them. They both contribute.

If Brazil's manager has any sense he'd build the team around Coutinho. I'll be happy if he doesn't and leaves the guy alone for us. But he deserves it. If you look back to last season, he'd slice the ball so often it was agonising, but this season it's as if he's got a completely different technique. It was probably down to confidence and temperament, but he's certainly worked incredibly hard to improve on all of his weakest aspects. Always a huge prospect, he now really looks like he's on his way to realising his full potential. And we got him for, relatively speaking, a pittance.

Ever since Ryan made that 'he only evades people on the halfway line' comment Coutinho has done his best to ram that shit right back up Ryan's bangle.

Great use of the word bangle.

It's been a while since I've heard it used in that context.

I'm going to teach my son words like this so that although he might grow up be bilingual, he'll still manage to fail all his English exams as he uses words like bangle and phrases like "boys a dear" and "sticking out".

Agreed but that wasn't what you said on either point 😛

I actually thought Lallana was poor in the first half, he fluffed two golden chances, and got knocked off the ball a number of times.
His 2nd half performance was excellent though but more for his work rate than attacking ability which again let down a couple of times.

But Coutinho-Lallana in that CAM roles are the best combination we can have on current form. Coutinho-Sterling does not count because Sterling has not played in that role for a while. Because Coutinho and Lallana are different kind of players and we are damn lucky to have that. So I will not compare them at all.

Henderson's foot.

It was sore but he scored with it so Brendan pointed at him.
He actually pointed at the foot and whispered "So there was nothing wrong with your foot, you just scored with it and you cost me a Euro cup, you lego head you"

I'd like to see him in a starring role for Brazil even though it would probably be to our detriment. A team built around Coutinho and Neymar would go some way to restoring the worlds image of Brazilian football.
