Developing into a key player for us..

The way he scores those goals reminds me of John Barnes..

Now if he could start doing that week in week out, like Barnsey did in his prime.. we will have one hell of player on our hands..
 
Apart from one season, about 1990 I think, Digger didn't score THAT often. I think he averaged about 15-18 in his prime. So Coutinho is already showing he's on the right track to emulating him in that sense.
 
Forget all the bollocks that we are all chatting, the four of Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge and Lallana are a good choice to have. There is a great mix of talents between them all getting them all on the pitch at the same time will be interesting..

Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho may be from Brazil, the home of sexy football, but he never would have predicted this.
Shortly after one Liverpool fan revealed his sexual desires for poor Philippe, the diminutive play-maker’s breathtaking winner against giants Manchester City was uploaded to the – naughty – website Pornhub.
And was even categorised under the section ‘Pure Filth’. Quite right too.
Coutinho, 22, may be able to last the full 90 minutes and make those around him weak at the knees, but he is not attempting to break into the porn industry. Yet.

Difficult one. On the one hand there are obvious risks attached, but on the other hand the guy himself is most probably chuffed to bits (conversely his form might have taken a hit if he'd been cheesed off at being left out again).

Could be worse, their 2 friendlies in March are in France and at the emirates, not a lot of travel.

They do a nice line in good football managers whose stubbornness ultimately stops them short of greatness. Step forward GH and Arsehole Whinger.
