The first time you saw us play United

I sure know the rivalry and all from way back, but the first time i saw this game live was in spring 97. Pool played a good game, but Gary fucking Pallister headed home a few goals. The game cost mee 100 quid (good amount for the time?). Anyway, I hated them decades before that game, and I still hate the fucking clown of a joke (Club I mean)

I remember that well. I turned off the TV and immediately replayed the game on the PlayStation. I must have beat them 25-0 about 20 times. It did nothing.

The rumour at the time was a bit John Terry. The last time I heard it was actually about footy boots. But he defo fell out with Dalglish.
