On that point about the Yanks guessing United's net spend, they also correctly predicted that The Grinning Russian Goon would pull right back on his spending once his overall investment went over 500m

I think its the case of they wanted to get him on the cheap either by Tevez wriggling out of his ties with Kia via European law- or by renegotiating an agreement that was already in place. Tevez is not only annoyed that they would attempt to do this to someone he considers a mentor and friend, but he already had the huff with Utd anyway, because he feels he hasn't been played enough.

My suspicion is that Utd will offer the full amount, but both Kia and Tevez would rather go elsewhere now.

Tevez has always struck me as a good honest lad who just wants to play football, much like Masher I guess. It'll be interesting to see how this goes now. If he's that intent on not staying at United, I doubt United would risk embarrassing themselves by making an offer and being rebuffed by the player, especially if the Liverpool link is genuine.

I dont rate him at £32mill if that's what it costs to get him (seeing as the scum would have to pay 10+22).

He is a good player, but he's not that good. I'd say he would be in the £20-25mill bracket of class?

For £32mill I suspect you could have Villa, Eto'o, Benzema etc and I don't think he's as good as those
 
He should be in the £22 -£25 region.

United have already paid something like £8m for him for the loan spell over the last two years.

He must have paid that £8m off handsomely given the important goals he has scored for them just lately.

They have paid that if he stays or goes. The arrangement was at the end of the loan period they could have first refusal on him for what is believed to be in the region of £22-£24m.

This has now become a matter of principle with Joorbiachan , who now seems would not sell him to United if they came up the right offer.

I don't mind paying a bit of a premium on him to get him here and piss of the mancs.

He would truly be loved here, something those cunts are incapable of showing towards good honest players it seems. Their affections seem to be saved for horrible cunts like Ronaldo, Rooney, Ferdinand and Gary Neville.

Also, I'm presuming that Rafa is going to continue with this 451/433 thing, and is Tevez really suited to that? I'm sure he'd be much more effective as a striker or in a 442.

I wonder if there is any truth in the rumour that Kia's arrangement/contract can be declared void and therefore he is using Rafa (complicitly 😉) to force the scum to pay up while they have the chance.
