I think he might be cheaper than 75mil if he still has to do the compulsory Korean military service. Only way he can avoid this is if Korea win the Asian Cup now that they're out of the World Cup.

I would tend to agree but Spurs have proven us wrong in the past. They sold Kyle Walker to City. They're massively strict with their wage cap, and if the player doesn't agree to a new contract I can see them letting him go to. Man Utd I think would be in pole, because I reckon spurs would want Martial.
You can see Spurs paying the equivalent of £70-100m (purportedly what United are looking for) can you ?

We should avoid him. Dont think he has improved...dont like him and united overpaid for him back then. Not worth it.

Was just thinking a few days ago about how Son would make a great signing for us. Must be a made up story though, surely Spurs won't sell

One of those lads from the bible spent 40 days and nights in the desert with no food. We'll be fine!

Just 3 weeks after the World Cup is over. I'm not sure we're going to be able to sign players for the 3 positions we have to fill.

Why?

Are we not allowed to speak to agents or clubs while the World Cup is on?

It’ll just be an exciting few weeks when we sign all the great players the club have been beavering away in the background to get m.

Also, Germany, Italy and Netherlands weren't really playing the World Cup, were they?

Lots of good players there to sign 😉

That Arsenal bound Uruguayian DM looks quality, unfortunately

He's only started two games hasn't he?

But yeah, he does look EXACTLY what everyone loves in a DM (and what Arsenal have lacked for years); smashed into tackles, always in the right place, full of running and can also pass a ball. If he carries on like that, they've got a bargain.

Another very promising youngster nicked from Chelski:

Liverpool have secured the signing of former Chelsea youth team footballer Isaac Christie-Davies after his contract at Stamford Bridge expired.

The Reds had been widely expected to complete the signing of Christie-Davies, and while the deal has yet to be confirmed by either club, the midfielder did appear in a video for the charitable organisation Common Goal wearing a Liverpool training jersey.

In their tweet welcoming Christie-Davies to their team, the organisation - whose members have vowed to donate one percent of their wages to charity - Common Goal referred to him as "new Liverpool player".

He's a good player - strong, quick and excellent at winning the ball and releasing it early in attacking positions.

I spoke to a couple of chelsea fans who suggested he is NOwhere near as talented as Loftus-cheek.

Time will tell, I haven't seen him play.

I think it could be another Kevin Stewart
