There was also a concern about whether Benteke would fit with Klopp's overall style of play, a concern which Klopp himself had reportedly shared when he decided against trying to bring Benteke to Dortmund. Fortunately that doesn't seem to be a problem after all.

I thought his demeanour was telling when he half mumble "he was ok in training this morning & now he is going for a scan". Hard to decide if it was annoyance at the injury or at sturridge, but it was definitely annoyance for my money.

Klopp does seem to waffle some shite occasionally, but I think as Jon says, it's a polite non direct way of telling Sturridge to sort his shit out.
