You're still quite right though.
Given that this season looks like a fucking write off, I'd sell the three players that don't want to be here and would bring the most value, enabling us to sign better players.
Mascherano wants to leave we may as well get rid now while he's at his most valuable and we can bed his replacement in during the rest of this season so we are ready to go next rather than wait till mid august to finally give in to Barcelona. Yaya or Lass to replace him hopefully in part ex plus a whopping fee.
Babel of course, would still fetch a few million quid.
Dossena same.
I'd also release voromong and zorba for free.
Obviously none of the above (re mascherano) would count if he were to sign a deal or ever say anything positive about us or commit to the club.
If that was to happen between now and January I'd sell Lucas in a heartbeat.

Glen Johnson at times is as big a goal threat as Albert. Taking nothing away from Albert though, I like what he gives us, an outlet, stability and balance. I'd always have Dirk on the team sheet ahead of him though.
