I think he lulls people into a false sense of security and them bam, they're in a pointless debate with him.

Fair enough, Riera is not a massive threat, I still have him ahead of Kuyt in my starting 11.
I've never rated Deadly. 4 good months in 3 1/2 seasons, playing every single game, is not good enough.

Yes it was Riera strike in that instance that lead to Kuyt's goal. That strike in that one game does not make Riera a bigger goal threat than Kuyt.

I like Riera, I like what he brings to us, but i'd have Kuyt on the field before him any day of the week. That's just my opinion, yours is different, fair enough.

However, Id say Torres, Gerrard, Benayoun and Riera are more threatning than him.
