Sakho was also a half time shirt swapper when we were losing against Chelsea. He has got some way to go yet and a long injury free run before he transforms into captain material imo.

Poor for the first 30 minutes and then decent for the rest of the game. Seemed to have the wrong studs on as he kept slipping throughout the match.

I think that, such are the depths plumbed by Lovren, people are hailing Sahko as some kind of saviour. I like Sahko and think he's definitely worth persevering with, but let's not pretend that he's been anything more than solid, or that he doesn't have at least one brain fart per game which could easily cost us a goal. Whilst he may grow into a captain's role, he certainly hasn't earned it yet. And if there's one player who's come close to earning it, it's Henderson.
