From the offal.

The Reds travel out to Italy on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the return meeting of the European tie, holding a 5-2 aggregate lead from the opening match at Anfield.

Sadio Mane makes the journey after missing the weekend draw with Stoke City while Adam Lallana joins the travelling party following a spell out with a hamstring injury.

Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who each had minor fitness concerns from the weekend, also travel to Rome.

Joe Gomez is not involved, however, having sustained an ankle issue on Saturday.

Liverpool squad: Karius, Clyne, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum, Lovren, Milner, Firmino, Salah, Henderson, Klavan, Moreno, Mane, Lallana, Mignolet, Robertson, Ings, Solanke, Jones, Ward, Woodburn, Masterson, Camacho, Alexander-Arnold.

I feel like Trent being at the end of that list means he's out...

Will be really interesting to see how the first 10-15 mins of this game is played. Will we go for it and try to kill their resolve early. Or will they go all guns blazing to try and get 1 two early on?

I would bloody love us to have an unexpected first goal scorer e.g. Gini, Robbo, Trent etc.

I expect it go the way of the first leg they will dominate to start but their will be space for us to hit back on the counter with the limited ball we have.

Really worried about tomorrow - all the signs around us are so shit at the moment - not winning a game before or after that Rome encounter, now that assistant leaving - does anyone else feel the negativity of all of this ? - nothing feels right at the moment, especially the fact we ain't got 4th spot sort out which is a real fucker at the moment.

No not at all.

The reason for the blip in the league is because we have gone so far in Europe.

Relax and enjoy it.

If you can't enjoy our first semi final in 10 years while we are 5-2 up with Madrid waiting in the final then you might as well stop watching.

I'm absolutely buzzing

We'll fuck them again. 2 goals and it's game over. We're capable of scoring another 5 against this lot.

I hope you are right, and @Dreambeliever - I am buzzing. Just feel a little bit apprehensive about us considering what our last few league games where - it feels like everything is just so uncertain.

Just want to share something about something which pisses me off - something which causes real rage in me. It's really fucking nasty shit but I need to get it out because Dreamy mentioned Madrid :-

Everytime I see the likes of Madrid, Bayern, Juve, Barca in the CL - I feel a sense of anxiety regarding Liverpool FC, I see teams that we were on par with in the 80's but they have continued to win league titles and are regularly in the CL while we have floundered and not won a title in 28 seasons now. I just cannot believe how far we have fallen behind regarding our domestic league - fucking Leceister have won the damn thing in that time frame.

I feel it is so wrong we are not in the same bracket as those clubs given our historical dominance domestically and in Europe - it should be us and the only thing I can be grateful about is the fact that the other teams that have won the league have nothing compared to our desire for this trophy. I really really hate watching those 3 European teams - I get the same feeling as I use to watching Lucas play for LFC. I want us to get to the final so bad and absolutely humiliate Real Madrid - Insha Allah.

If it makes you feel any better, those other sides haven't had to compete with oil money pumped into previously meaningless clubs in quite the same way Liverpool have. If there was any sense of financial fair play both Liverpool and Spurs would have a title in the last 10-15 years.

I think someone needs a nice stiff one.

Loved Klopp's words in the press conference. I'm expecting us to be compact with disciplined shape and the second we get the ball, BOOM - charging forwards. Heavy metal football. Come on you redmen!

.

Any league result we have had since Spurs last Oct will see us qualify.

Relax my man and enjoy the feeling of being one of the sides that every young player is watching and wanting to play for instead of being just another club with history.

We are back and it's a wonderful time.

If anyone wants to go for the incredible, nerve-shredding option, my friend received an omen that suggests this tie will end 6-3 to Roma, 8-8 on aggregate, with us going through on away goals.
