We have made loads of mistakes but these things happen, at the half way point of last season we were 5th, behind Everton and 6 points behind Arsenal. Let's remind ourselves what happened then, when we ended up 12 points ahead of Everton and 5 clear of Arsenal.
I'm 100% behind the manager, he will get it right but it will be a rollercoaster. Enjoy the ride, sure it hurts at times but often you have to take a few steps back in order to take a big leap forward.

Normally they start the thread with the early kick off and then some posts are made about the 3pm game with no real depth or discussion
The lack of early kick off today meant the wasn't a communal game people were watching to discuss, and then became relatively meh to post about 3pm games when we've got a massive game tomorrow
Now Modo, you may feel disgruntled enough with our manager to not discuss other teams games, and that's fine. A majority of us however just didn't care that city and chelsea were playing relegation fodder
It's not only about the manager it's mainly about how we're doing in the league.

I have no real timeframe in my mind. I have no interest in seeing him sacked.
He hasnt been perfect by any means but who has?
I hope the board stay the course and lets see where we are. I think its reasonable to begin asking questions if we dont start next season well. But after the man lost 100m of attacking talent from an already paperthin squad in the summer Im willing to give him time to build it all together.
We have a lot of really good young players and hopefully they will grow together as a team and in the new year really start to gel.
Concerns?
Goalkeeper. Hes a dud. We need to address this.
DM he should have signed one but at least he is now paying the one we have.
Defenders. We need a defensive coach. Because he isnt that.
Good things.
Future proofing. Sterling, Markovic, Sturridge, Moreno, Can, Coutinho, Manquillo. All boys who hopefully will become men.
Willingness to adapt. Gerrard out, Lucas in, Agger fucked off etc At least he is willing to chamge.
Europe. Got us back in Europe after a long time out.
Better showing in the cup. Happy to see us trying to win in the cups.
I dont see the point in changing for changes sake, and im not sure any manager would do much better with this squad. The basis of the belief I have is simply if Sturridge was fit we would be still in the champions league and maybe 6points better off in the league. The Balotelli experiment looks an abject failure. I do like Lallana and I think Lovren will come good too. January is huge. I hope we find some pennies for a striker and a keeper.

You're right, it didn't stop anyone before but that was when people actually liked posting on here. I can't speak for everyone but perhaps there was no "other games" thread because a lot of people are getting fed up of this site. It kills me to say but it's a shadow of its former self. You can use an app to check live scores. If you aren't enjoying the forum (and many aren't) why bother logging in to keep up to date with say Chelsea VS Hull.
What a cop out. No offence, but you think a few bad posts/ bad threads act like a repellent to people here? I'll use the same excuse again "it didn't stop anyone before".
We've recently been knocked out of a competition everyone was excited about before the season started.
We're out of the title race.

Have you seen the league table? I haven't, not for two fucking months. I don't know if we're 7th or 11th. I bet I'm not alone in that.
I was actually surprised to hear that we're like 5 points behind the 4th placed team. That sounds fucking amazing considering.
So a few posters, basically 2 or 3 want the manager gone by XMAS, a few posters aren't happy with some of the signings.

It didn't stop people before because they enjoyed being here. Loads don't seem bothered anymore.

The Forum has gone to the dogs in my opinion. It isn't the same place it was. A lot of the regulars are missing and don't seem interested any more.
Perhaps we can rally again and get people posting?
