Firmino goes in the shite section for me, when you can't play a 5 yard pass you aren't helping matters. All our talented forward thinking players were shite.

I thought Bogdan recovered eventually but that punch in the box was shocking though. The ref did him no favours.

Good post and I agree with most of it. I think Skrtel probably should be in the poor section though. Constantly positioning himself behind the rest of the back four is just not good enough at over 30 and supposed to be one of our top two CBs.
I think he's a big part of the defensive problem and has to be replaces as a starting CB going forward.

Maybe so. I was trying to avoid placing most of our players in "shit" category, although they probably deserved it 🙂

The thing that annoyed me most was the lack of fight from most of the players. No one rolled their sleeves up and got stuck in. Put themselves about.

Then I saw Graeme Souness in the pundits chair. No team like Watford and the likes of Troy Deeney would have had the freedom of the pitch he was afforded throughout by a Liverpool team of his era. We would have shown steel, we might still have lost but not in that fashion.

I'm bored of yard dog teams with their physical style bossing us on a regular basis. That's not to take any credit from Watford who played to a game plan throughout and executed it perfectly. I can stomach losing, but to lose with no fight is very upsetting.

I'm actually fearful of the visit of Leicester on Boxing Day. I think we are the underdogs. At home. To Leicester.

That's the scale of the job Klopp has.

It was a defeat by Watford (not then a top division side) in the Cup in the early 70s which finally persuaded Shanks that the time had come to replace some of the aging stars from our first great side. We were champions again a couple of seasons later, and the rest is history. More of the same would do nicely.

Yeah. Especially the 'Champions again' bit. Which suggests we were actually in a cycle of success, rather than fucking mid-table

We are so very far away from Champions, and at least 7 of the players who had a collective aneurysm on Sunday would never have come near to being Champions in the first place, never mind being replaced to ensure we won it again.

They're mostly shit

They are I think
They're 14/5. That's pretty mad to me. I will wait and see whether Vardy is fit first. But if he is and those odds are there, it's a good bet in my opinion. Although I hate betting on us to lose as I still believe just before any game, against any team, that we can win. Sad, deluded fool.

OMG - It's so F*CKING painful everyone - really hurts badly - just look at the PL table, had we won our last 3 games we would be in top 4 now, but as it stands we are 14 off top position !!! HOW HOW

Newcastle, WBH, Watford - should have been fucking 9 points !!!!!! I feel like smashing my head against a wall - what a shower of shit we have in this team the yo-yo fuck brains.

Sakho may get up to speed quickly if he's going to be playing beside Kolo 'Panic stations' Toure

Shame Joemez is out

I agree with everything except the above line which is skewed by saying Leicester City.

The correct way of putting or boxing day match is to day we are at home to the league leaders while we are in 9th.

Of course we are underdogs.

If it were Arsenal or City coming to Anfield we would see ourselves up against it, just because the leaders are the less fashionable Leicster city doesn't mean they are not currently a huge side.

Skrtel has been pretty shite but we cant afford to lose him without a replacement.
Klopp will probably be forced to buy in January.

Funny, I have much more faith in Klopp picking up a 5m Hyypia type signing than any defence related 20m signings recently.

You're not, mate. We can beat anybody - some good sides have found that out this season. What we can't seem to do is keep it up, as the vicar said to the barmaid.

We'll hump these fly-by-night uppity mother fucker blow-ins 7-0!!!!!

*chop chop chop chop chop chop, ssnnoooooooorrttttt!!*

Maybe - but what is the point ? it will only give our big rivals a boost. If we had won our last three games or even got 7 points from the last three games then I would actually be willing to suffer a loss against these fly-by-night uppity MF's. But needs must we have to win - so we will probably lose 4-0, as easily as we could win 7-0.
