If it had been for our utterly spineless performances, I’d be laughing at this run of results by the shanks. Goldbridge is comedy gold, oscillating between salivating about new owners and hence targets to hysterically screeching about the Newcastle result. All in the space of six hours.
I would have given higher marks for "Longstaff is growing into a decent member of that side."
Milan are steamrolling Napoli 4-0 will 20 mins left to play. Did not see this one coming.
Our performances don't need any help at all to kill whatever hopes there have been left.
I think United could easily drop out the top 4, as when Rashford isn't on song, they're shite.

What if they just decide only top 2 make it this season because all the rest are shite. I mean, do any of us, Spurs, Newcastle or United really look like Champions League teams?

It'll be a very short competition if only 2 teams from England, & that means 2 teams from Italy France Germany as well btw are competing.

There is so much material for comedy and fun this season which I would have loved had we been somewhat competent.
At least we allowed the [success] of recent seasons to get to our heads. What’s Spurs’s (and for that matter, the skanks’) excuse?

Newcastle have been getting their recruitment right with the likes of Tripper, Botman and Ishak. Guess it's no coincidence that their Sporting Director Dan Ashworth was previously working at Brighton.
Yeah, was a great 1st signing by them after the takeover. Contributing both defensively and offensively. Spurs haven't really got a capable replacement since he left too.
