Adebayor is a total gimp. He should get a card at least for that over zealous celebration. He ran the lenght of the pitch.
Yep, what a cunt.

I could understand him doing that in front of Arsene, perhaps, but running the length of the pitch & goading the fans is out of order.

Did he have that bad of a rapport with the Arsenal fans?

I thought some of the city players should have halted his sprint to the other side of the pitch.

If I was Adebayor I would have done the same, Arsenal fans are mostly cunts.
Fair fucks to him for giving them a bit back.
The stamp on RVP was nasty though, he'll be in more trouble for that than the celebrations.

Hughes didn't look happy with that, and rightly so.

He knows there is a ban coming. The stamp on Van Persie. The celebration. And he does not play for a fashionable club, yet.

Van Persie's statement

"I am sad and disappointed by my former team-mate Emmanuel Adebayor's mindless and malicious stamp on me during today's match.

"We are both professional footballers and I know that the game is physical, I too have made hard and sometimes mis-timed challenges but never with the intention of hurting an opponent. He set out to hurt me today.

"I knew he was aiming for a collision because he changed the angle of his body to allow contact to be made. He moved backwards when his natural momentum would have taken him forward. I find that deeply disrespectful. He has shown a real lack of class today, to me and the fans.

"I do feel lucky that I have not suffered a greater injury. The contact was only centimetres from my eye. I have not received an apology from him, there were no words exchanged afterwards. He had his own agenda today and that is bad for football. It's bad for the game we all love.

"I want to make it clear that this has nothing to do with the result of today's match. We do not hide from that disappointment but I need to speak out about his behaviour."

Drogba has a new pretender to the thrown it would seem.

Man City seems to be housing a few rather bitter individuals.

Yes. He did. I went down to the Emirates a few times last year.. and there definetly was an undercurrent of booing and general disdain whenever he got the ball. Nothing he did seemed to be good enough for them. Mind you, at times, he did play like a cnut showing little effort or passion, but nonetheless, they seemed like they were on his back from the first minute. They were also happy to tell everyone who listened how well rid of him they were. For me, whilst his celebrations showed a distinct lack of class on his part, it was fair game considering the sh*te the Arsenal fans have given him over the last 14-5months.

Someone mentioned above, it would have been ok if he slid in front of Wenger. Why? Adebayor did mention how he still respected Wenger and how it was more the fans who turned against him and forced him out the door.

But they didn't 'just' turn against him, did they? I loathe them, obviously, but in this case I thought the provocation was his absurd 'come and get me' antics staright after telling reporters he was dedicated to Arsenal. It was that cynicism that angered people, wasn't it? If so, I can't blame them.

oh what a fucking bullshit suprise. 8 fucking minutes of 1st half injury time. of course that'd be chelsea 1-0 down. fuck this shit what a fucking joke. what next they'll play extra time huh how does that sound fucking bullshit. what the fuck,

and there they go more injury time to let them win it. fucks sake. shameless fucking cunts

Remember when Adebayor did his celebratory dance thinking he had scored only for Babel to go down the other end of the pitch to score for us??

I love the hypocrisy of Arsenal fans though.

As for Van Persie. Well, he's an angel isn't he:

Yeah Henry acted a cunt aswel in that instance but It still doesn't exonerate Adebayor, who was being an antagonising prick.

He also made stupid statements like the Milan interest is like a Beyonce crush. I dont think any of our fans would be forgiving if any of our strikers made statements like that.

Well if Ade is suspended because of his stamp & run, Man U will benefit in the next game!

thrown
throne

never dawned on me the two words sound exactly the same like
flour
flower
Is 'flour' pronounced the same way in Britain?

I thought it was mainly the American pronunciation.

We say 'flahr' over here.

Oh come on... It may have been a red card for RVP but the keeper was being a cocky cunt and I have no sympathy for him at all.

In the CL? If I remember correctly he did score and then almost immediatelly Babel got a penalty for us.

Is it not the case that he can't be punished for the run to the Arse end because he was booked for it?

Yeah but they can punish him for the stamp a bit more to compensate. 😉

Anyone else catch Gary Lineker's dig at Shearer on MOTD last night?

It's exactly what everyone else was thinking, I was made up.

They were talking about Adebayor stamping & he was saying how disgraceful it was, & said "We all know how it is, in the heat of the0 moment, we've all scored goals.." Then Lineker interrupts & says "& stamped on peoples heads".

Just watching City game - Adebayor is really in top form and he makes them a much better side

The tackle on Fabregas was worse and could easily have broken his ankle. It was late and over the top of the ball and should have been a straight red. How he got no card for that alone baffled me.
