My word pep could have the Christmas party back on pitch with wife's and family and city would still win.

No leaders in this Arsenal team, they laughed at spurs when they got Mourinho but I bet they wish they had him now...

Arsenal need a massive rebuild, too many luxury players or players playing in 'luxury mode'. Even auba a player who should be familiar with intense pressing goes into luxury mode too often. Their defence is substandard, once you breach their midfield its way to easy to score against them.
 
Expect to see Arne Slot's name linked with jobs - perhaps the one at PSV. Keep an eye on their young team too.

AZ Alkmaar has just beaten Ajax by a goal to go level on points with them at the top of the table.

Their top striker, 18 year old Myron Boadu has 5 assists too.


The other 2 of their attacking trio Idrissi and Stengs have been impressive too.

On the plus side that kid Martinelli looks like a prospect...

Arsenal's problem is not just motivation as lungberg is proving but talent. Apart from some of the attacking players they are just poor technically. They need to actually buy better players, there is only so much you can do with coaching...look at our team now from the one Klopp inherited...only Henderson is a regular...origi and Milner are bit part players in reality.
 
Didn't Watford post the most amount of shots on target at the Emirates...shows how bad Arsenal are and how bad Watford are because the match ended 2-2. Watford have only scored 9 goals this season.

Yeah, but you have to get more out of what you have to get there. Klopp gambled a few patient windows on getting 4th with poorer players, to get the ones he actually wanted.

Arsenal aren't going to do it with this lot, and by the time they are sorted out, they are going to lose all their best attacking talent without any compensation.
 
Martinelli won't be there in 2 years if he maintains/improves

Hes got a real bit about him

I agree to a point, but can you actually get any thing not put of this lot, isn't this peak Arsenal? I think it comes to a point where they need better players...Also I think their best strategy is to get someone who can get the best out of the younger talent that they have.
 
I'm not seeing £70m when I look at Pepe, massive overpayment considering we getting Minamino for peanuts.

When he dribbles it's as if his feet are too fast for his brain. However to his credit I think he needs time to adjust to the brutality of the premiership, like Keita once he gets used to all the physicality and bulks up a bit in the gym maybe he will get better.... maybe...

He is utter wank, like truly wank, there is no pace on him at all. I don't think he needs time to improve because it is the way he plays, just cannot cope in this league.

The dribbling ability is there but a good dribbler even tiny players like Messi and Salah use their body weight and arms intellegently to create space as they are running with the ball... Pepe doesn't seem to do this at all and get bundled of the ball to easily, which is also critism of our keitas dribbling too sometimes. Use your body strength and arms just like KDB did today and your dribbling succes will improve. He thinks he is playing in the less physical french league...

I agree he doesn't seem like that fastest player but he is still fast enough...

They should have signed Newcastle's Allain Saint-Maximum instead who is a powerful aggressive dribbler.

Only spoiler for me with the Tory Party winning the general election, still life would be so boring if we all got everything we wanted 🙄

I dont think he has any pace and you are absolutely right about bad dribbling technique. Keita, despite his few appearances, his use of the ball and technique in tight situations is very good making me think that if he could play 30 plus games per season he is worth the fee we paid for him.
