Last Other Games thread of 2024 (week 19)

Arsenal are an awful side to watch. Cryarseing and rolling around on the floor for every tiny foul. And then boxing in the GK with the same set piece routine, every time.
Its mind boggeling that the refs dont give any fouls.

We cant let Stoke win the league.

What's mindboggling is more teams haven't adopted this tactic.

The only way the refs do something is when 50% of goals in the PL come from this strategy and people start to complain.

For now, it's only Arsenal doing this.

Two of their three goals have involved fouls in the box…week after week after week nothing done..
Two crucial goals which have effectively killed the game.

If the refs don't do anything, then others should adopt it.

Remember when Jurgen complained about the smart fouls Brentford made with their set pieces?

Well Arsenal saw that and went and hired their set piece coach. Credit to them, I guess.

Aye, except their tactical fouling that goes unpunished could decide a title.

Not if we do the same.

Imagine we score 1 per game like this too.

This is why the Arsenal fans were so upset with us "stealing" their set piece routine. They know it's a cheat code and they're getting away with it.

Now imagine if Liverpool did the same PLUS our attacking threat from open play.

We'll be hard to stop.

Great comeback win from Arsenal with a heap of rotation.

If they beat Brighton before our game which is most likely then all this talk of the title being 90% done will look very silly.

The only silver lining to that would be hyper focus against Man U.

They were missing two players out injured, Rice and Havertz.

Saka being out injured until March is rotation?
Resting two of your best players when your actually best player is injured is brave rotation.
Lose today and Arteta would have been slaughtered by his fans.

Imagine Salah was injured and Slot decided to rest Gravy and Diaz and played Rico instead of Salah.

He didnt rest them. They were injured. Which was the point.
I can imagine Slot playing someone for two injured players, yes.

Come on DB. It wasn't Nwaneris first game. Was hardly a throw Trent into a Man U game situation.

I’ve not been watching Brentford’s matches much this season but we royally mugged them for van den Berg, no?
His passing stats must have been horrendous. He seemed to miss every single one to my eyes. Some weren't even interceptions, he just passed directly to an Arsenal player!
