These reviews need tweaking. The VAR, A/VAR should not be in the ears of the ref because all they do is influence and give reason to change his mind. Onfield ref needs to have the authority to request a review and make the decision by himself. I don't know how many games I've watched since VAR but I can count on 1 hand how many times they've stuck with their original decision, whole thing is a sham.

Wyy does the on pitch ref need to get involved at all? I've never understood the logic. At best, it's pointless. At worst, you get a corruption of the process like you suggest.
What I'm saying is if he's made a decision in real time he's 50/50 of and needs a replay for confirmation, he should request a review as the authoritive figure and not be made by anyone outside the stadium to check again nor have anyone else in his ear to influence his decision.
