Other games thread 1-3 February 2025

I'd much rather see Newcastle win this by two or three.

Even though City have been shite, beating them will have given Arsenal a real boost in confidence and belief. Losing a tie comfortably over two legs to a team that hasn’t won a trophy in 70 years would be humbling.

If we had signed Isak over Nunez we would have won the PL last season and won this season by Christmas.

He's that good. He's far further ahead in his game than Pedro, IMHO, so if we're paying top doller for a nine then he's the one. It's only the niggling injuries that's a worry and he'd have to force himself out of there, which wouldn't be easy or pleasant.

I agree but now they'll only have the CL and the PL to worry about.

Pedro is a horrible cunt. Don’t want.

So far so good for Newsandcastle. The longer the game goes without the arse getting back into it the more desperate they will become and we might see red cards.

Actually wanted the Arse's to make it 3-3, then lose out either in the last minute of injury time (like Spurs against us last season) or in ET

Martinelli did his hamstring apparently.

After this game they have a 10 day break, then they play Leicester away.

Isak is a quality, quality player.

He causes us problems too and seems to always score against us. From his debut goal against us, to last season, to getting VVD sent off last year, to his stunning goal against us this season. He rattles us almost as much as he rattles Arsenal.

I wonder if they'd take 80M + Darwin for him.

I'm actually happy for Newcastle that they've made it to Wembley.
Will feel for them when we beat them in the final

…and to think they were celebrating beating a dishevelled City team as if they’d won the quadruple 3 days ago.

I’ve said it before, they’re far too emotional as a team and spend so much energy trying to win fouls / complaints…the choking Lego twats.
