Absolutely - he's even got the Gravy turns. Would have been a great backup to rest Gravy after 60-70 mins or even start in some games.
You have to think the issue has been an attitude problem (widely discussed) and hopefully he's over it. Next season perhaps.

I genuinely don't think there's any doubt at the club about the talent of Bajectic. He's proven himself as a first team player. He just needed minutes after a injury ravaged season and being backup to Grav, and even Endo at times, he wasn't going to get them.
There's some speculative doubt over his off the pitch discipline, which a loan also may help with but let's see. I think it was all about getting minutes in his legs after an important year of development was completely lost.
Hopefully him and us both reap the benefit next year. We'll know how Slot sees him by the end of preseason. There's nothing about his style which suggests he cannot contribute to Slots midfield.

He’s needed this season to get back up to fitness and sharpness and is getting a lot more minutes than he would have here.
He’s looking like a bona fide option next season if he keeps this up (or has just earnt himself a move to the Nou Camp in the summer!)

Possibly so, but not for long - managers and players would soon get the message that the rules are the rules. Alternatively, change the rules themselves (though I don't know how). Either would be better than the current uncertainty in which nobody knows where the heck they stand.
