I love him. He is fucking awesome. Everything he does on the pitch makes me happy, from his moanibg to amazing tackles. Please stay.

Yes. I know people go on about his moaning, but he shouldn't try and change that. It's part of what makes him a monster. He is intense.

He's huge in games like today.

Massive performance from him.

Agree with you but from a team point of view his complaining does more harm than good.
Still, absolute beast, love him.

There's no bigger fan of the little bugger on here than me, but he flaps his gums too much at times. He needs to find a way of keeping that in check while remaining the player we know and love (and opponents f'cking HATE).

He's been sent off once for it. Other than that what problems has it caused? (that's not a statement by the way, it's a genuine question)

Since the day I saw him live with Andy, he has been my favourite player.

How anyone could not want this man in the first 11 every week is beyond me.

Yes he isn't an attacking midfielder but Christ he never stops running tackling or trying.

And for a DM he makes some great bursts to releave the pressure.

His passion is like watching a fan out there. I F*cking love you Masher!! You Legend!

It's because he's getting a reputation for it, therefore is more prone to sending offs. On top of that it's a cunty way to be.

...is the right answer. It's a constant risk with Masher, and an unnecessary one.

Still love him to bits though.

I've always loved him.

In fairness most have, with the obvious exception of Ryan, but then again he loves Lucas so his opinion doesn't count for much these days.

Masher is one of 4 truly world class players we have.

Load of people said they wanted Masher dropped in order to play two attacking midfielder's against the smaller teams. One cabbage even suggested we should sell him and play Spearing in his position, I tried to find that thread but couldn't but did find this gem

that's english terrace punditry at it's core that is.

He may complain and mouth off a bit too much, but it shows his passion for the game and club. He wants to win every game, every tackle and that is priceless.

Spider neil's been another persistent Masher doubter, though that has more to do with his Alonso obsession than with Masher himself.

Well I've checked it out an my posts seem in order, therefore I can officially say that this Spearing replacing Masher stuff in there is an utter fucking embarrassment.

I loved it when Mascher and Agger came over to stick up for Stevie.

'twas a moment to treasure.

It was great to see mate.

We didn't take any shit today!

It was a massive mistake by moyes not to expose him after the sending off. He hots hopelessly caught out of position sometimes, entirely excusable when playing at right back of course, but I was astounded that they didn't put arteta on him.
Still, sometimes he does things that make you punch the air with joy.
