So as we know one is our player and the other is a Man City player. Both are still young and yet to hit their prime. Suarez at 24 and Aguero at 23. Both scored more than 100 goals at the top level.

So who is the better player? Suarez or Aguero? Aguero on current form is the better player / striker. Not to forget Suarez was the Player of the Tournament in Copa America a few months ago.

Below stats are for those who are lazy to look out for it.

Suarez:

League goals - 109 goals in 187 games *8 goals in 21 games combined for us

U20 Uruguay - 2 goals in 4 games

National team Uruguay - 22 goals in 51 games

133 goals scored in total

Aguero:

League - 105 goals in 236 games *8 goals in 7 games for City currently

U20 & 23 Argentina - 8 goals in 12 games

National team Argentina - 13 goals in 32 games

126 goals scored in total

So based on stats above i would say Aguero is looking like he's the better player. But the most eye catching thing is that he came to England and looked like he has played for 5 years while Suarez hit and miss is a worry for us.

Suarez scored loads of goals with Ajax and why the fuck can't he do it for us while Aguero with Atletico wasn't as clinical as Suarez is with Ajax.

What went wrong here?

Ha- you're a wind up merchant.

Suarez is hardly 'a worry' given that he's head and shoulders our best player at the moment. I agree he could be a more clinical finisher, but apparently he has always been like this. He'll have a really hot streak in front of goal and sometimes not so much. The thing is, scoring or not, he tortures defences and creates space for other players. I wish we had more worries like Suarez.

I find it extremely worrying that Suarez hasn't replicated his scoring form from the eredivisie.

He must be the only striker I can ever remember not to do so.

You went wrong. Your convenient summary of the stats has missed the point that Suarez has scored 7 more goals in about 60 less games. Oh and perhaps, just perhaps, Aguero's form at City has something to do with the fact he's surrounded by about half a billion quids worth of talent?

I simply wish we had more players with ear-biting, hording, kicking, Nietschian will-to-win mentalities.

If i want a striker that create space for others i can do it in a kick-about here. This is a professional football. When u are a striker people only measure your standard by goals scored. You're an idiot if you think otherwise.

Striker = Goals scored

Glock =Ratings

Etc etc

I know that hence i produce the stats below my opening post.

So by your reckoning, if we swap both of them Suarez will start scoring like nobody business while Aguero will have hard time?? ??

And also that you meant we didn't create enough for Suarez?? ??

Do you watch football this season?? ??

I suspect you don't value space because you have plenty between your ears already.

If we put this very question - Luis Suarez or Sergio Aguero? - to 100 independent (i.e. non Man City or Liverpool supporters), who would come out on top?

I'd say Aguero would probably win relatively easy as he has the bigger reputation, played at a higher level for longer and has been better on Football manager for longer. Might be different in a years time though...
