There's nothing genius, original, or anything about how they played. They played an effective incredibly defensive style with individually really solid expensive players, combined it with the dark arts and a massive gifted goal.

its not a case of having a mare. the chavs had a game plan and played it to perfection. Maureen got it spot on and his squad delivered. We helped them along the way with absolutely no ideas up front. You get the feeling the psychologically we just werent at it today. Way too desperate to win it and we just started looking just that at the end. Desperate. At virtually no point did we look like scoring today. Shame, but it's not over yet.

I don't think Mourinho is some kind of genius. He has a very athletic and technical team who were well drilled and prepared. Game could have gone either way but their negativity gave that shot at a result.
Lucas' injuries have derailed him - he isn't of the standard we need. Sorry to all his fans who still remember the pre-injury player.
