We'll get one the break when Sturridge comes on in the second half and kill the tie

Milner's been excellent for us. Left side, right side, up front, he's everywhere and really pulling his weight. Both CBs have put in immense blocks as well. Can's been inhibited by that early yellow; think we may have to bring Allen in for him at some point in the second half.

Pleased with how this is going so far. More opportunities like the one Origi got near the end of the first half will come up after the break as they try to push for an equalizer. Hopefully we'll be able to capitalize.

Sakho , despite still being a rock still managed at least two heart in mouth moments there .

Origi is still raw , he's also got the acceleration of a fucking Diesel engined train , literally it takes him what 15-20 yards to gather that momentum , still took his goal well .

I see Bakambu has scored again for Villarreal. A season ago, he was at Bursapor. Now he's got 20 goals in 32 games in all competitions for the yellow subs.

Milner has run his socks off, but his passing, like everyone else's, has been horrible. Desperately need someone who can calm things down in midfield.

This is a game where a dominate Can would be massive for us, he's been a little weak so far unfortunately.

Milner has been one of our best players, Lallana and Coutinho have been close to non existent, Henderson has reverted back to the norm after his season best performance against Spur.

Allen on for Henderson, big 45 mins for mighty mouse

Sensible subs from both managers. I was surprised by Tuchel playing Durm (a defender by trade) on the right wing, was he trying to stop the threat of Coutinho? Anyway, it didn't work and now Durm is off for Sahin. Surprised Kagawa is still on the bench.

Hendo was clearly struggling with his heel again, it was only a matter of time...
