That's quite true Mark, we've had to beat some tough teams to get there. I had a ticket for tonight - had to get rid as I had a morning meeting in Herts. Fucking thing got cancelled this afternoon. Twats

Seriously though. Semi final second leg, at Anfield, against the league leaders and outplaying them for most of the match. Yet some would prefer to slag our players off on the innernet rather than just enjoy it?

The Roffa years ruined me with high expectations, but hopefully this will help develop a winning mentality among young players, like the 2001 season did..

As the man said, we are up there with the best of them on the night. We just need some strikers and depth and we are there. Hopefully the owners are one with this goal.

There's an agenda for some posters on here which is sad at the best of times but to be against our greatest ever Kop Legend is just depressing in the extreme. The misery will probably only reach it's zenith when he leads us to the title.

That was a brilliant performance, I don't need to frame it in anyway, it was just brilliant.

Bellamy is a beast and set the tone for a huge outpouring of effort.
 
Glad the players showed Kenny, the club and the fans the fight that we expect of them. A trophy in his first full season, regardless of which cup it is, would be a great achievement given where we were on and off the field a year or so ago and a brilliant platform to build upon.
