There's something very sexy about a perfectly orchestrated set piece, even something as simple as a clean header, direct from the corner... What a goal that was by Joel - Poetic in it's simplicity and ruthlessness.
The best headed goal I've ever seen is Drogba's in that European Cup final, both for the flawless execution of a nearly impossible feat AND the crushing pressure he was under at that exact moment in time. I hate Chelsea, but that goal brought me out of my seat. Joel's header yesterday wasn't on a par with THAT goal, but it was as crisp and clean and perfectly executed as a 'simple' header can be... Textbook stuff.
If you wanna teach kids how to attack a corner and execute a header, just show them yesterday's winner on a continuous loop. I could never tire of watching such simple beauty.
