Looks like agger could be out there for the rest of the season, Insua is apparently out for the season. *Hears Brendans small cheer.

How long is Aurellio out for? Or could we try anyone else out there.

I thought Insua was merely suspended for yesterday's European game due to the booking he picked up the week before.

Just info that was passed to me, I'm assuming it may have been done in training. Although i did notice Insua limping into Anfield yesterday thought nothing of it really.

What is the status for Skirtl, Aurelio and Kelly? Any of them likely to be fit?

I'm not trusting Agger to stay injury free for the rest of the season. If he does pick up an injury, we will be fucked.

But Agger at left back is something i wanted to see. He can play there like Gallas did for Chelsea (that was when Chelsea defense was water tight). If he can be more solid in Defense than Insua, then our team would definitely benefit from it.

Insua does ok when he goes forward, but his lack of pace and poor heading ability hurts our team balance, especially when we play Johnson on the other side.

May be Agger on the left will give us something different.....something that will be better for the balance of the team.

I liked the look of the blode heard fella on their left in the first leg. He gave Johnson plenty of problems.

EDIT: This was meant for the Luiz thread apologies!

I think balance is very important for a team, changing Arbeloa and Aurelio around for Johnson and Insua was always going to be tricky, but had to be done at sometime, but the main balance issue for us is Alonso leaving and Lucas replacing him, I'm a fan of Lucas but let's be honest he's not gonna look great replacing Xabi hardly anyone would

Alonso was suited our formation of 4-2-3-1, that formation allowed the full backs to get forward knowing they had some cover at the back from the two holding midfielders and also freed up Gerrard to score and supply Torres

Mascherano would win tackles and simply give it to Alonso and he could then start the attacks going, abit like Xavi does at Barcelona they seem to find that extra bit of space to get them in the position to start an attack, but now out of Lucas and Mascherano there not the type player to set attacks going

i think if Aurelio had of been injury free for most of the season he would of played more and give us more stability and confidence in defense, which gives the attackers more freedom to attack knowing they have someone at the back covering them with experience

it's not always about you're best players that are the most important, it's very important to have the players around them supporting them and helping them out

which is why Insua starting his 1st full season will benefit from the experience and am sure will be a better player for it next season

Isn't Mavinga getting rave review? We'll probably see more of him next season especially with Aurelio likely on his way!

royston drenthe? what's happened to him? he has attitude problems and am not sure rafa could get the best out of him, but he could be very good in the rihgt hands,

I'm going to be seriously fuked off if this insua romour is false and insua scores or makes a goal as I too him out of my fantasy team (hey, he's cheap) and replaced him with agger.

Hopefully he is out for the remainder of the season and the reports that he is off to Spain are true, because he's shit and unfit to wear the Liverpool shirt.
