I missed the 2nd half, but from what I’m reading, Robbo didn’t cover himself in glory in this game? Seems like a dip in form, confidence or something. Hope he comes out of it, but for now Tsimikas is almost certain to start at the weekend.

I only saw the second half and didn’t do much wrong. He made an excellent interception late on in the game at the far post to stop a goal.

He got roasted a few times and fucked up big time for Lamptey's one on one where Jaros saved his ass. And Tsimi didn't play a minute so a lock for Sat.

If he played yesterday, it was presumably for his leadership skills among a second squad. I don't think Tsimikas should fully be displacing Robbo yet but I'd expect him to start at the weekend since Robbo isn't up to 3 matches in a week at this stage in his career.

Bradley on the other side was a very busy boy, skipped by 7 times last night according to Fotmob, it did seem as Mitoma had the better of him when he came on.

Robbo going forward was probably our best player first half, created our biggest chance (Szobo should score) and also made a gut busting run to arrive in the box and almost scored himself. Defensively he was iffy, didn't get touch tight to Gruda a few times and was a bit naive with his interceptions which allowed Lamptey to drift past him......but then on the other hand he also prevented a certain goal which would've made the 2-1 score line a lot more uncomfortable.

He's playing like a 30 year old with a lot of mileage in those legs.

Slot on Robbo:

"He needs to have some time because he missed out on pre-season to come back to that up-and-down, up-and-down full-back. I see him getting there more and more; that’s the good thing.”

Thank you Robbo but at the start of 2025, you deserve to be at a club where the stakes aren't so high?

It’s the time to phase him out. He wouldn’t have had so many games recently had his understudy not been injured which he seems to be whenever we need him. Tsimikas out, Robbo stays and a new LB as a starter. Even if that is Beck.

@King Binny are you able to get some stats on which side we are weakest by showing a heatmaps of where the opposition try to attack us from or where we concede the most goals please? I tried looking I couldn't find any. Thanks mate

Leicester the ball came in from our right. Same for two goals against Fulham. Spurs I think came through the middle.

You don’t need stats to know which side hampers us the most, at times we deliberately afford them the space. Robbo has made 3-4 individual errors which have been costly but in terms of exploiting the space….goal yesterday was from a cross down our right side, both Fulham goals came down our right side, Forest winning goal came down our right side. Other goals we concede are mostly down to individual mistakes, Trent needlessly giving it away for Kulusevski’s goal, Mac needlessly losing the ball 25 yards from goal for Maddison’s goal. Kelleher trying to be too smart thinking a cross will sail over everyone.
