There was never a warm welcome, thankfully.
I stuck up for him a lot because he got a lot of stick for being a Rafa-basher..I didn't like the way he said things, but I did think he wsa right on some things.
I didnt realise it at the time, but he's just a loon who is only interested in criticising every possible thing about our club.

Isn't he the jeb who hates Gerrard?

Yes, that would appear to be true. Doesn't really make any difference, though. I don't like or dislike people because I'm right about stuff and they're not.

what the hell?!
edit: okay, you're saying I'm always wrong. I'll conceed sometimes I say players will go on to become great which frankly can go either way, other than that I just make observations on players so if some disagree on my opinion then I'm fine with that but when it comes to tactics I don't think I'm wrong and most of the time if what I suggested was actually implemented we'd have been better off, in fact the only time when I called the tactics badly, badly wrong is when rafa brought on hamann rather than a striker when we were 3-0 (fantastic sub) but then had I been manager of that game didi and alonso would have been in the middle from the start and kewell wouldn't have been anywhere there the pitch, it a pity someone can't dig up the istanbul match thread as my comment is there after the team was announced.
