Just imagine if we had managed to sign him?
What does everyone think of him so far I'd love to know

Doesn't suit our style of play.

Still have Sturridge up top, his movement and skill is a lot better for the way we play than Costa.

Agreed but Costa seems to have the same kind of fight in him that Suarez had for us. There is no denying that he is playing very well and looks the business for Chelsea at least.

Undoubtedly.

The way they play, no doubt.

Also, his attitude and aggressiveness is spot on, and in some ways like you say what we may miss this season through our loss of suarez.

He's a major cunt, but his attitude and willingness to be in the box and fight for the team will win them loads of games.

The interesting thing for Chelsea is if he actually gets injured.

That thought alone makes City title favourites for me.

I'm surprised how well he has done. The cunt has cost me big time by not being in my fantasy team. [emoji20]

Doesn't suit our style of play? Load of bollocks...he'd score a shitload for us too.

You cannot possibly be 100% sure on that, the main reason being that he did not perform well in the Spanish team at the WC this year. Yes Spain were shit, but for most part they play in the way we like to play and he struggled to get the goals.

Pretty much everyone was against signing Costa when we were linked a while back. I wanted him more than anything, admittedly that's because I thought he'd be an amazing goalscoring left winger, and not a shit hot striker.

It's a strange thing that we didn't make a play for him as soon as we were aware Suarez would be on his way. We were the first club to make a play for him last summer and reportedly triggered his release clause - long before his stellar season for Atletico.

With a release clause of 32m I'd have thought we'd have gone head-to-head with Chelsea for him.

I think we had the money in the transfer window - but no guts to spend anything like £30M+ on any single player. Andy Carol fucked that up for us big time.

Costa and Fabregas for £60 million is looking the deals of the summer, and could well be enough to elevate Chelsea from third to Champions.

Yep - I was thinking this. How the fuck the Gooners (who had first refusal on Fabregas) passed on him is absurd.

Have to wait for the inevitable spell on the sidelines ... or hopefully, a spat with some defender which sees him becoming the new Suarez of English media. Otherwise, 25-30 goals in the league and sadly, medals too.

We don't play like Spain far from it. I'd also bet he'd have been on the end of some of the excellent deliveries we've seen from the likes of Manquillo and Moreno already.

And whilst he's not the quickest his movement is very good and imo he'd have thrived with some of our attacking midfielders supplying him.

Shame we didn't get him but what do you do.

I do wonder why we spent £50M on just two players who are really not ... proven in anything specially big.

The cunt never moves ... I think all 3 of his goals at the weekend were scored from within the same 1 sq.m. on the 6m line.

No way that was a punch, his hand slipped off Sigurdssons shoulder as he shoved him. Although the FA have made atrocious decisions in the past, it'd be mad(although great) if he gets any trouble for that. He's dench!
It does however show that he can be wound up and lashes out, Brodge will figure him out.
