- Kenny's line up today is hopefully a sign that he's starting to get it ... No one would have picked that line up, with 75 million pounds on the bench. Subs were right on too.

- The first half was tremendous; Oncy's been saying it forever - Maxi & Suarez work well together, and create goals. So Meireles is missing, but Bellers can fill that void AND is far better at helping the back four.

- Skrtl & Agger were solid again. If Agger stays healthy, and yes it's a big IF, he's a fucking monster of a player. He has world class written all over him for the 25% of games he's healthy every year.

- That pass by Adam is why we bought the lad. Who else could have pulled that off bar Gerrard on our team? Yah, he's earned his place with some great runs and his fitness seems to be improving too.

- I'm in the "Kuyt for 50" fan club against Shitty

- We're missing a finisher ... That's all it is between us being up 2/3-0 at HT in many games this season, and "Man, we really should have had this game finished already" at halftime.

- Whoever said it in the match thread ... That's for you Luca Jones. RIP young lad.

- GlenJo is still not good enough defensively (Sorry neil - it's not a vendetta) but when on form when attacking like he was today, he adds something to this team that makes us hard to play against.

Haha, it was more or less the pre-summer window bar Enrique.

I agree though, it should start every game.

How the fuck does Adam continue to waltz past 2-3 players every game? It always happens in slow-motion.

Carra can probably sit out the City game for me.

Bellers,Suarez and Maxi - it was refreshing to see 3 quick-thinking abled footballers leading the line. Throw in the endeavor of Dirka dirka and Im happy. Shit throw in a fit Stevie behind those four and your cooking on gas!

Extremely happy with the win. Didn't think we'd pull it off to be honest.

Adam was great and so was Lucas. However they played too deep in the second half.

Luis need to have better support. Playing Maxi is a step in the right direction.

What does that say about Downing?

Don't mean to be "downer" but what happened against Swansea and Norwich...it's pointless if we can't beat those teams.

You can find more reliable defending RB's than Glen Jo I agree so far. But you won't necessarily find them playing in the best teams in the world. Teams who's first and foremost there to attack and dictate play would have more of a Johnson type than say a more cautious type.

He's a tremendous attacking-minded RB - on form one of the best in the world. He's not the most solid around but you have to sometimes chose. And in this case I believe we've got it right. Johnson any day of the week for me compared to e.g. the Ivanovic's and Neville's of this world.

I love Kelly and believes he's got a major future at our club - perhaps as a CB - but at this day and age it's Johnson for me especially as he's finding form. He's adding something else. Hope Mourinho doesn't buy him come Summer is all.

What I love about Suarez - and this was never true of Torres, even at his best - is that, even when he's off-form, as he was today, he still works incredibly hard and causes the other team problems with his sheer presence.

Brilliant that we were able to win at Chelsea with him struggling, Gerrard injured and Carra on the bench. Definitely a good sign.

Henderson played well when he came on I thought. He's definitely much better in centre mid.
Yeah, i agree.

Would like to see him get a start there at some point soon.

Aye did much better but showed some promise out wide when he skipped past two Chavs to set up Dirk via Downing.

Skrtel and Agger was very good today once again.

I can't help to wonder whether the fact Skrtel has now played a few games on the trot without any blatant mistakes is actually down to Carra not playing?

I know posters on here has claimed that Skrtel has looked more shaky with Carra yelling at him in the past than else and perhaps there's some truth in that after all? He certainly has improved of late imo.

that's true. He looks a lot more comfortable on the ball now as well. Looks like Kenny is doing well with building the lad's confidence up.

Maxi and Bellers both had great first halfs but when they tired up their subs did very well too.

Henderson and Downing got themselves involved and especially Hendo impressed.

The depth in our squad has improved immensely this Season. No El Zhar, Nunez, Biscan or N'Gog on the bench (no offense mind they were just never good enough).

I love Suarez.
Glenjo was a disaster defensively. It was no coincidence that chelski attacked on our right flank.
Lucas was mom! Fantastic!

Chelsea look well ropey at the back at times

I don't think I've ever seen Terrry as bad as today. He was all over the place. And Luiz looked just as bad.

Well when you combine a past it John Terry with a non defending centre back, throw in (the spidey formula) a high defensive line, attacking fullbacks and a high tempo defensive line this is what you get.

Suarez nutmeg on Luiz was soooo elegant. Hopefully I'll find on youtube as I have a few Friends who support chelski.

chelski forums already turning on boas
Good. He's a Mourinho clone, an arrogant up his own arse bellend.

We will play better and lose this season probably.
But movement and interchange passing won the day for us.
Enrique was solid as a rock although poor going forward,Agger and Skrtel were rocks.
Johnson was suspect at right back but was awesome on the attack,Lucas and Adam were superb.
I love the combination of Bellers,Maxi and Suarez as a front 3 the movement and tippy tappy passing was great at times.
Kuyt was shit though

Really? He's been well off the pace the last few years.

Chelsea's ascendancy was directly related to Bellers being shifted out wide and Maxi moving inside. Up until then we were closing them down from the front and haranguing them relentlessly, afterwards Chelsea got given time on the ball.

Bellers + Suarez = defenders nightmare

Thats why spening so much on Carrol was so baffling... that was reminiscent of the tippy tappy stuff we played for chunks last season, get good tidy footballers on and we start looking good.

Fair play to Maxi... great goal that...

Almost cinematically beautiful winner aswell...

stick with the little lads Kenny... theyve got balls that team.

At times !? They looked awful every time we attacked them ... Luiz and Terry just do NOT go together.

What is it you think Kenny Dalglish is only just starting to 'get'?
