There are a fuckton of other options as well. And that's without counting the top tier talents like Eriksen, Belhanda, Muniain and Rodgriguez. To name a few - Oscar, Filip Djuricic, Roberto Firmino, Julian Draxler etc.

Dzagoev would be a dream, but didn't he just sign a new contract?

I'd take any of them though.

Martin just moved to Lille. So he's off limits. So is obviously Dzagoev after the Euro he had. Still plenty of options though. Gourcuff would be a gamble, but he's still massively talented, and may just need a change of scenery, and the right system, to get the best out of him.

I don't think Gourcuff is the right sort of gamble for us. We'd likely be paying top whack for him as opposed to perhaps another lesser club and we need someone who is going to deliver bang for bucks after last summer. Or just go for a younger player.

If we weren't going through such an upheaval already maybe. He'd be a better gamble for someone like Wenger who has already got all the foundations in place for someone like Gourcuff to succeed.

I wouldn't necessarily disagree. Just saying he's an option, and that there isn't a dearth of them for the AM spot. I hope we scout well.

While I would love any of those mentioned especially Rodriguez, Dzagoev or Muniain. I just cant see us signing one of them unless we get rid of either Aquaman or Joe Cole otherwise I think Brendan will stick with them, and honestly I think we should give Aqualani another shot under Rodgers it may just click. I can just see it now we will be forced to keep him he plays awesome then leaves the following summer lol remind you of anyone?? Xabi number 2 i'm telling you!

people always want to come to the premier league though but can see your point, i'd say only the ones with CL football are unrealistic (most of them) but muniain isn't even in the Europa league is he? and Jovetic and Gaston Ramirez we should be all over them!
