The mentality monsters?

Two games now down to ten men and won them both. But my god, that game this weekend was massive. It’s games like these that make teams sometimes.

We've conceded three goals in three games.
Nah, we're not there yet, but it's looking good.

We have very good energy in the team these days, and that was something we lacked a year ago. Naturally so. Can even tell Klopp seem more uplifted and ready for the season. That is what a clean good break does.

It certainly bodes well that they can take these sendings-off in their stride and still not be fazed, still find the energy to push for the win.

It is, but it’s the nature of how we’ve faced some big issues and overcome them that’s impressed me. A goal down and then ten men against the Toon at SJP is a massive ask just to keep it at one nil. But to keep their heads and then win it is massive. Absolutely massive.

If we can focus and grind like we do with 10 men when we’re at full strength that’ll be something like the mentality monsters. We look a bit flakey at full strength although we’ve not spent much time with 11 men beyond the first game of the season.

I think the addition of Szoboszlai and Alexis has been the major difference. They are not (yet) infected by the doom-and-gloom attitude many of our fans have around the transfer window, they made their choice and want to win things with Liverpool. Their attitude lifted the players around them.

Maybe not having Keita and Ox around the place also helped somewhat. Also having Diaz fit helps everyone, he is a bundle of positive energy.

We have always done things the hard way amidst enormous amounts of adversity.

Its the Liverpool Way.

We’ll probably go all the way to the Europa League final with 2 men sent off before half time and a Gakpooo own goal and end up winning 20-19 on penalties or summat like that.

Our press is working much better than early last season. Mac, Szobo, Gakpo, Diaz all making a big difference.
